Well, to be fair, a few people did suggest a nudity toggle, like the persistent gore toggle. But their logical and even-tempered suggestions were drowned out by the "You're a PURITAN! Oh yeah? Well you're a PERVERT!" arguments. And, joy of joys, those arguments have now migrated with the exact same people into a different thread on a different subforum.
Really, this thread wasn't about turning off nudity to begin. It was just a clarifying question about what nudity was in the game. The suggestion came later. And, to be honest, now that the suggestion has been made, it seems like there's not much left to be said here as neither side is going to budge on their beliefs, I suspect.
Yes. I know. Because I was the one to first suggest a fade to black toggle. Not that it's something that I want. But because I was hoping to redirect the energies of those railing against the nudity into something more constructive.
And this was (probably in vain) attempt to do so again.
Sadly, as you pointed out, people seem to be stuck in the rut of demanding their way and only their way.
Where, in anything that I've posted, have I stated that I didn't want it? Stop circling the wagons and read what I say, instead of what you want me to have said, and you'll see that I don't care, one way or the other. If people would stop misrepresenting what I say to fit their agenda, I'd quit responding. However, when I am misrepresented, such as by you, right here in this quoted post, I am going to respond to it.
At this juncture, with the game preloading onto my computer as I type, it's a bit late for "I don't want it, don't put it in", isn't it? Isn't it time that people sat back and declared their "victory", instead of trying to attack people for making statements that they never made?
I didn't misrepresent you in any way. Your the one misrepresenting me, in a sad attempt to continue stirring the pot with your insane twists of logic.
Please stop trolling.
