So because I don't have the next gen systems, I need to buy the last gen version of DAI. It does mean that I will need to buy the next gen version of DAI too, but by then it will probably be down to 20 bucks. The main problem is DLC. If I buy the DLC with my first version, it will very likely not be tied to my account. That means that any DLC I buy for the 360 or PS3 version will be a waste of money because I'll have to buy that twice too. And unlike the games themselves, the DLC will probably be full price forever and won't ever get cheaper.

So should I hold off on the DLC until I get the PS4 version some day? Or be impatient and buy them and hate myself later? Or will I get super lucky and bought DLC be tied to my Origin account so I can download the DLC on my PS4 for free since I already bought the DLC itself on a past console? Or will there be an ultimate edition someday that I should wait for and just not ever buy any of the DLC at any point?

DLC at the moment seems to be minor and mostly cosmetic with a few useful things here and there. The won't detract from your gameplay experience so I say its worth waiting to get it on the next gen, that way it will be next gen with a few added bonuses

That's true for now. But I'm likely to still have the last gen version even a year from now, and by then they'll have likely released something major by then.

If you think itll be about a yr for you to get PS4/X1 then the game might have an ultimate edition by then, if it does well enough of course (hopefully it will). Probably the cheaper easier bet
