Of course it's not.  I think, by the term you used - "The Warden's story is over" - it means that Your story with the Warden is over.  Whether you want to see it this way or not, The Warden is as much Bioware's as it is ours.  They played Origins too.  I don't think that Bioware would treat their own creation with malicious intent just to screw over the fans.

 

Right, but they seem hell bent on simply forgetting the Wardens very existence from the setting, frankly. So it's not really a matter of how I see it. They gave some vague, inconclusive thing then sit here and tell us "It's over, get over it" in a nutshell. It's not over, not even a little bit.

I do not recall saying a single bad thing about the Inquisitor
Heck, even my bitter remarks about Hawke are mostly due to them being in a spotlight rather than my personal attitude towards the character

But that's not really the point as to whether you dislike the new protagonist, but rather your stubborn feelings towards the original, that seemingly prevents you from approaching Inquisition with an open mind and let the developers entertain you with a new story, and new characters -- When you say stuff like "A protagonist story doesn't end until he dies", which is just downright untrue, then you're painting yourself as a bit of an contumacious git. 

But I get that the internet is generally diametrically opposed to any form of quality control and as such it is easier to assume everything is **** until it can prove itself otherwise.

He does look better than he did in DA2.  That puffy "I never met a stinky wheel of cheese I didn't like" look is gone.  And Anora translated well from Origins' engine to DAI's.

I mean, even if she was alone in the pic without Alistair, I'd know who she was.  I didn't dare hope that the warden with Hawke would be Alistair.  But now in this pic, I can definitely tell it's Anora + Alistair.

 

*Edit* and LOL that made me giggle because it's so true!

 

*Edit* he may show up with Teagan and mention his wife the Queen also.  We don't know yet what will be said.  He mentions the Queen in DA2.  It could be Alistair knows where his wife is, even if the world at large doesn't.

I didn't express myself well there, i was thinking that he looks like he is not carrying his burden very well. Something in line like - "If i again have to deal with some overly ambitious, incompetent noble moron making my life harder than it needs to be i am done, shoot me with arrow, stab me with sword, i am going bananas."

Well again, theres a giant demon invasion, on top of all his OTHER daily problems of said nobles. I imagine his life sucks right now lol

For all of Last Flights faults (which are many, I can't bring myself to finish this dang thing.) They did mention the Warden Commander of Orlais had stopped sending reports to Weisshaupt. They dismiss it however, since they insist the Commanders never send a letter unless they want something.
