omg Loghain name drop
Anora looks WAY less beautiful in frostbite engine. Like worlds apart.
Well, she has spent the last 10 years married to Alistair. That can't have been easy on either of them. I think Anora is still beautiful. I wonder if the world state imports a King Cousland if she shows up alone--or with her father if he's alive? Or does she only show up if married to Alistair? I can't wait to find out!
Speaking of a Warden. Look who's back, guys.

I knew it too, but some people who shoulve been going dark by now is probably still lingering. Just wanted to save them from one of the hundreds of spoiler-mines in the minefield atm.

It's in a spoiler tag for a reason. If you care about some spoilers more than others, maybe you shouldn't click any.

Yeah, my "cannon" Warden married that gal, in light of this recent spoiler i am also looking forward to seeing how it plays out

I don't mind minor spoilers. I was curious about certain world states and got my answer.

Apparently, I didn't even reconize him, and was confused lol.
For all of Last Flights faults (which are many, I can't bring myself to finish this dang thing.) They did mention the Warden Commander of Orlais had stopped sending reports to Weisshaupt. They dismiss it however, since they insist the Commanders never send a letter unless they want something.
Yeah, I'm rather convinced at this point that they're saving the Warden (or Warden-Commander) for a possible expansion. Would be the easiest way to introduce him or her without having to deal with the immediate repercussions of some choices that may have already been done in the main game, not to mention avoiding conflicts with what we've set up in the Keep.
I suspect that depending on the choices in the Keep, we might even have a possible expansion start us off playing as the Warden or Warden-Commander first, maybe even in different locations, with the Inquisitor coming in later.
- Warden romanced Morrigan and stepped through the Etuvian? Begin the expansion wherever the hell he's supposed to be.
- Warden romanced Leliana? Start with him possibly accompanying her on a Divine-related mission.
- Warden is Alistair's wife and queen of Ferelden? Start in Denerim, smacking troublesome nobles around.
- Warden didn't step through the Etuvian and didn't romance Leliana or became Queen with Alistair? Maybe start at the Circle Tower, since that spoiler image suggests he or she is there.
- Warden made the ultimate sacrifice, therefore we're playing as the Warden-Commander of Orlais instead? Could be another possible location to start in.
This would actually be a nice callback to how Origins started. All the potential beginning stories.

I just thought in case the spoiler tag and my text alone is not enough I'll have to put gigantic text so some people could see and avoid the spoilers. I kinda saw this coming, and I'm glad we get to see the official confirmation literally.

no no, The Warden Commander of Orlais, is not "The Warden Commander". What they were implying, I think. Is that the Wardens of Orlais are now uh..."rebelling" from the Order.

Ah.
Whatever the context stated in that book is, I'm just saying that bringing back the possible Warden Commander from Awakening would be a convenient workaround for those with world states that have the original Warden doing the Ultimate Sacrifice, assuming the Warden is supposed to show up at any point in the future.

Keep is what is being used in the 'import', not the original Origins saves. The syncing is only to sync up achievements, not world state.

I thought they sent over the world state from the keep to the game? No?

YOOOOOOOOO!
Aight I'm calm. If the Inquisitor is going to be broing it up with Loghain I can accept the Warden not showing up.
Saying upfront that I'm completely fine with the Warden not showing up physically, I even prefer it this way due to all the near impossible problems. Though, one thing that really concerns me is that sooo many characters from Origins returned in DA II and now return in DA:I. And then, the most influental and powerful of them all, doesn't. Imo it would be way better to drastically decrease the number of returning characters to give the world some breadth and scope.
It just doesn't make any sense to have all these return and the GW commander, Arl of Amaranthine, King of Ferelden, only living slayer of an Archdemon doesn't when the world is going nuts in his home country. GW duties aside, he would make his move. I really hope s/he has a meaningful role in the background that goes way further than this one known agent mission.
