I'd call BS but Rockstar pulled almost this exact stunt with Packie McReary in GTA V.
As I've said, several times in these boards. Naughty Dog lied to everyone about playing as Ellie in The Last of Us prior to release. They told people you never play as her in the game, in order to surprise everyone when you did. Devs lie for (in their mind) the sake of the player sometimes. Do I believe the Warden is actually in the game? Nope, not at all. I too call BS on this guy.

Ahh... the Experienced Female voice. That was mine as well. Best voice option in my opinion.
I would probably pay top dollar for a satisfying DLC with the Warden. It seems like that would be a good compromise. That way people who don't want to see their warden or don't want them to be portrayed wrong, don't have to get the DLC. They could just add an area to the Keep that asks : In one word, describe the Hero of Ferelden's Personality: Stoic, Sarcastic, or Sadistic.

Was it ever said that the warden wouldn't be in the game, verbatim? I thought it was just said that the dude in the trailer wasn't your warden. blahblah's statement could hold up if this is the case.

Tough ****** to them. Silent protagonists are something I'm glad Bioware has done away with. Characters without voice in a world full of voiced conversation are hugely immersion breaking. All titles with this "feature" suffer for it.

I agree. And honestly, I am more excited to see Hawke again than the Warden. I felt more invested in Hawke as a character and enjoyed the personality "guidance" that DA2 gave for the protagonist.

For real though, just give the different Warden's bad ass voice actor/actresses and it's all gucci. The Warden can be voice, no issue.

Looks like The Warden Commander is in just not as they were in DAO but as in from DAA
Maybe he's at the Circle tower only if he's a mage

EA Access is limited to the Prologue, Haven and the Hinterlands so there is no way for the Warden to appear in the game yet as you do not have full access to the war table.
