Hawke felt more like an NPC, to me. Someone someone else created for me and told me "This is the guy you will be playing". Not that I disliked Hawke, or anythng.

Can we please not turn this thread into the Warden vs Hawke thread? Both characters are great and amazing, but seriously you people know arguing in such subject will only lead to endless debate. We all have our preference so it's never going to end once it start.

I agree. The non-physical appearance of the Warden in DA:I isn't a problem for me, I even prefer this solution due to the difficulties of implementing a satisfying one. Doesn't change my view on Hawke, who was for me personally the worst RPG protagonist I had ever to bear with. It's great for Hawke fans that s/he appears in DA:I.

The Gamespot video review has some spoilers in it. Some of those spoilers refer to a quest called "Here Lies The Abyss", which is the/a quest where Hawke enters the game, and ends up fighting that giant demon in the fade. The quest takes 8 power to activate, and it's first objecive is "Meet up with the Warden." That doesn't necessarily mean it involves the Hero of Ferelden; warden could just refer to a random warden/Stroud. Still, something to think about.

I would say that the approach which started with Hawke is beginning of fanboy definition for the BioWare, since the release of DA2 we´ve seen few of the other DLCs which were the same quality as the Hawke, I won´t name directly, but Í´ll tell you that much that these DLCs were made with lot of fanservice and I don´t like it, it´s very unnatural forced kind of stuff...

I've played a huge bunch of RPGs and it's still my view. It was discussed here and on the old forum numerously and doesn't belong in this thread.

I've said this before, but can't we all just be effing DA fans?  Is that allowed?  Why must there be divisions everywhere?  These stupid squabbles are tiresome.
