you people fan of hawke start, they in each topic of warden enter for down each post.

Only because 'certain people' keep making threads to:

(a) complain about why the warden isnt appearing, and saying how crap hawke is in the opening post.
( b )Hawke hate threads.
© calling the hawke fans 'casuals' who are not true rpg fans.

I got news for you. I have been playing RPGs since the Atari, and I also happen to <3 Hawke.

Its nice that we get a nod to the Warden, but as has been said repeatedly again and again, he/she isn't physically in Inquisition and cannot be due to the lack of a recognisable voice etc

Hawke despite some of fanbase's dislike is in Inquisition, can be more easily recreated, has an established character (sarcastic etc), has an established voice and actually has a link to the story in Inquisition unlike the Warden who aside from still being alive (if they are even alive) has very to link him/her to the current story.

Frankly my Wardens would generally look to stay out of yet another apocalyptic situation, they have done and suffered enough without being dragged out of semi-retirement to fight in another conflict, hell somebody has to keep an eye on the darkspawn while everybody's attention is diverted elsewhere.

People you're using logic here, no wonder its not working. We all have to put on our tinfoil hats and accept the conspiracy against the Warden for not being included in a game they have no part in.

Seriously Navoletti, give it a rest. Again, reported

Im a warden fan and i have come to terms that the warden are not appearing, i dont like it, but i understand.

But what ive seen is that now bioware is throwing a big bone to The Hawke character and only breadcrumbs towards the warden.

That hardly seems fair

It isnot for the sake of the story or avoid anger from fans, as we saw of ME3 when entire BSN EXPLODED with a clear majority of fans disliking the ending, bioware dont care about that.

So if hawke is appearing the. The mission regarding the warden will be good one, and not simply end up like a wild goose chase along with a pale offscreen solution.

Its not throwing a bone to Hawke fans. The Warden got a game and an expansion, Hawke got a game but had his/her expansion cancelled. It has been stated by devs that the cancelled expansion, Exalted March, is going to be incorporated into DA:I; if anything this is just evening the playing field. Warden may not be here but they are getting mentions and quests related to them. Hawke, as far as we know, is going to be an NPC and not a controllable character so Hawke may be in the game but this game ultimately belongs to the Inquisitor, Hawke just happens to be there.

I for one do not care if I get to see my HoF ever again. Don't get me wrong, I loved him but hearing a story about him or getting some facts of what actually happened to him would be good enough for me.  Its been a while.  As for Hawke, I don't mind her either.  It just seems more likely that I would run into her in the story.

My inquisitor will be busy, meeting glorified heroes of past is a little bit below beating demon ass and closing portals on my priority list.  I like making legends.  Its time for a new one!

Can't we like Hawke and the HoF at the same time?!

Question is, are those same complaints going to happen to Hawke? The "not my Hawke" complaint?

There were already some "so it's going to be the default Hawke" threads based on one video cameo. Any interactions with the Warden will have to be off screen. He/she won't be able to talk, because "my Warden didn't sound like that". They couldn't take off the helmet because "my Warden didn't look like that". They can't do anything relevant because "my Warden wouldn't do that". Once people take off the rose colored glasses they use to look back on Origins, they'll realize that not only will this happen if the Warden appears, but that it has already happened, in Origins. Far better to have just killed the Warden off ending the Blight.

hawke is the more ignorant and more fail carácter protagonist of the Bioware Games.

only the fanboys of hawke love the cameo for him,the 80% of users hate hawke and love the real hero of the game,he is called the hero of ferelden.

The real hero of the game is called the Inquisitor.

Also, could you give a link where you got this "80% of users hate Hawke" statement?  Unless it's just a bullsh*t random number you pulled out of your butt.

I agree what you are saying that Hawke has a bigger role yes of course. but the state of disappear for the warden is hardly something to withhold. and when you have a very important character who has been involved in many action as well having a impact on several returning NPC. that kind of Apathetic approach not include a important character only to be solved offscreen is like buying first class tickets to the UEFA champions league final and you only will hear it on the radio.

Fine the warden is not appearing but it is equal important that Bioware is paying attention and understand that there are fans who favours the warden and if the character is not appearing they have to give a good story as well as concrete answers. that way showing the fans that they are heard and not ignored. Not simply throwing a quickly leftover story and say that that is enough.

So far it has not been shown that the fans are heard

As in this situation it is very difficult to avoid a story ending up like a Wild goose chase. you track him/she down only to find that the trail has gone cold. and you are back to square one. If you have a very small side quest similar to the picture in the beginning it sends a clear message from bioware to Warden fans if the quest is only solved with a advisor.

I guess having two badass PCs would be too much for Thedas

Inquisitor and Warden in the same scene would make the world blow up

Hawke, though, is like half-badass? So the game can handle it just fine

What? You act like an ass towards Warden so I act like an ass towards Hawke, all fair

These discussion always get annoying with people crying about big bad evil Bioware not including an end to the Warden's story.

Anyway, glad that the HoF looks like he's getting a mention, and I'm thankful Hawke will be in the game. Can't wait for this game to come out.

Do those who want an appearance by the Warden not understand the inherit problems with an appearance?

They would in effect look different, talk differently (since they had no voice apart from those few phrases repeated endlessly) and have a different personality, what exactly would make him/her your Warden?

Hopefully the mentions the Warden gets will fill in the blanks on his/her time after Origins/Awakening and end his/her story so we can get on with the new main character's story.

These are all fair points, I don;t want to give the impression that I am pro-Hawke as the state of the Warden is of great concern to me as well. I just don't like it when people (one in particular) just want to complain about Hawke and treat the Warden as some sort of Messiah. I think we should hold off on doing the Warden until it can be done right and not feel like some shoe-horned cameo.

I would also like to thank you sir for actually provided a clear concise argument instead of just saying the likes of "me smash Hawke, Warden da best"

The Warden doesn't appear because most of the people who actually like them would rage if BioWare had to give them a real personality. As long as that continues, you'll never see them.

I just watched that video that was in the picture regarding the warden and if that is it and nothing else I will be really disappointed

it looks like just a advisor side quest and that's it.

It is possible to make a cameo which doesn't talk. It's very tricky but possible. I'd love a cutscene cameo which would include the Warden not being able to say anything (monsters appears, noise) as running gag

Plus they said that if they would give us our PCs to meet we would be able to customize their appearance

I wonder how but it should be possible

I'm glad that the Warden will play an important role even if off-screen but dang I'd love an actual on-screen cameo even more

Heck, I don't even mind giving her ome neutral Shepard-like voice (I did manage to play a self-insert with Shepard. Not with Hawke, tho) and a coupleof neutral lines. It's not like I want DAI to be about the Warden though DA:O2 is like an impossible wish for me

hey guys dsl08002 and the others wardens fans we need claim for the cameo scene in future games, expansion or dlc of the warden alives/orlesian wardens.

i send very very much twits and messages for David gaider and laidlaw,we need fight for the warden.

really i see the video and he is only a misión of agents, really the bad treatment of bioware for the wardens is very very big.

is easy recreate the face of the warden and a personality neutral, why not a cameo with morrigan and the son,or we alistair married,or the other interest of love.

really i hate this treatment of bioware for the warden, they ignore the players of DAO.

So, you want to see your Warden, fighting a demon, not talk whatsoever, then just disappear again? This would satisfy you?

It'd be interesting to see if there will be any codex of the interaction between Cullen and the hero of fereldon if you send Cullen on the mission?

the voice not is a problema for my and for the real wardens fans.

why i need see the piece of .... hawke and the importance of him,my inquisitor cute the head of him only for the reason he is a apostate.
