Well, the idea of the site is essentially a melting pot of whatever selected contributors want to write about it.

DifferentReasons.com is a website and community featuring articles by volunteer contributors on a range of topics; including but not limited to art, design, entertainment, health, spirituality, technology and more. Essentially it is a free flow of content, from our volunteers, discussing society and culture, from a global to local scale.

DifferentReasons.com hopes to serve as a forum for better understanding our society and to help unite us through our differences. Our diverse heritages and experiences allow us to bring something different to the table. This website is that table.

The only thing I would be hesitant about is another music reviewer, since we already have one. But, I could be convinced. I posted here  looking for more tech/game interested contributors.   But again, I embrace the idea of diversity so I am open to most topics!  Target audience is generally 18 to late thirties. Most of our current contributors are in their late 20s to early 30s. Geographically  we target US, UK, Australia. But these days anyone can use google translate...  so just as long as you have a firm grasp on the English language, you're encourage to apply.  Some experience with forum code or basic HTML, would def come in handy for you while composing articles.

Try to get in touch with GMagnum on these forums. He'd have a lot of insight I'd think.

You forgot "skwish Miranda butcheks hella blunt tbh"

More seriously: for the music one--is your contributer reviewing ALL music? Or just specific genres? Because specific genres would be helpful. However, if the person is going to be doing things like reviews, you may want to nail down a consistent schedule with them, so there can be an established borderline for the review system. Additionally, you should definitely have an editor, if you don't already.

I could probably blog about semi-interesting stuff. For only $50 an hour.

I'd be up for this too. And unlike Recon, I won't charge $50 an hour for blogs about the sexual adventures of anthropomorphic ponies.

That's not fair.

He seems to be reviewing mostly electronic and alt pop. I can set up a schedule for writers that prefer that. I like to be flexible and allow the writer to contribute at their desired pace. After all, this is on a volunteer basis. And it is more fun when you don't have a schedule you're chasing after. I currently am the only editor, but am open to have one join.

A schedule is important. Any study of personal writing will show that you get much more done when you have a schedule. It helps the writer to maximize efficiency and minimize procrastination, and it helps the audience to have better expectations for the content.

What?

I was just responding to what those other two thought I would write about. They have very sick minds.

Good points. Are you interested in helping?

Appreciate the offer, but I don't really have that much time. Far too busy these days...

Blogging is pointless if you put your precious knowledge or ideas on a blog just to be stolen by everyone. But if you write unimportant stuff blogging is fine.
