A random Courier gets shot in the head twice and buried in a shallow grave, is rescued by a cowboy robot and General Doctor Saul Tigh Mitchellius, then has to track down their lost package and decide who runs the Mojave... and all after spending less time in a medical infirmary to recover from a double-tap than most people spend in hospitals for the removal of their tonsils?!
IGN also faulted COD Ghosts for being "too complex".

well from what ive seen this whole "chosen one" arc is not as much poor as retarded, still im buying this game for the hundreds of hours of optional content, not the poorly done main story

To put this as bluntly as it can be possibly said.
The next month will either give Vincent Incognito a lot of credibility in the future,
or completely ruin his credibility and turn him into a joke who no one will take seriously again.

Not really. Story telling, companions and writing is Bioware's strongest points. It is the core of their renown, and other developers cant even come close to the level of quality in this regard. Saying the main story is weak is a very, very big thing when the one you are criticizing is Bioware.

I find the comments section to be a reliable source.

Eurogamer didn't seem impressed with the story either as I recall. Nor a German site I can't recall. But the companions are pretty consistently complimented.
Story hasn't been Bioware's strength for some time, characters has. That was kind of ME3's problem too, the characters too often took a back seat.

Also, just remember that a professional review is an opinion like any other.
So Warden will put all Darkspawns under Control and establish "global peace". Hawke will Destroy all Templars with an explosion. Inquisitor will then step in to merge everyone into a Synthesis force against whatever megaboss.
Same colors but it seems a better ending this time 'round.
