I ran on one seller who claimed that Russian version of the game (with Russian price) isn't region locked for activation and is only language locked. Is that true, or I won't be able to activate it in EU, I'm fine with Russian text cause it's my native language.

We don't really know aside from the fact that on the russian store it is language locked
