So right before we meet Hawke, we're thrown into a character creator screen, correct? Can we change his name?

I really have a hard time believing the thing about Hawke being captured and possibly dying. He/she seems to be a crucial part of the plot with the wardens in the Western Approach and it'd be weird if they died.

Eh, considering how you could not set Hawkes appearance at the start of DA2, I think this was a valid concern.

I usually use the default Hawke appearance (sans blood smear) in DA2, so I guess I'll stick with that in Inquisition, even though Frostbite makes Male Hawke look like he's been drinking moonshine under a bridge since we last saw him. Then again, the one with the blood smear literally hasn't washed his face in the decade since he left Lothering, so that's only appropriate.

So I will be seeing William Hawke again someday. He's probably the least successful and most depressed character I ever finished a CRPG with. It's almost cruel he doesn't get the rest he deserves.

 Yeah I'm kind of worried about Quinntus Hawke too myself. He already went through so much. I really hope he gets to settle down somewhere quiet with Fenris after everything is over. He's ready for a life of peace and quiet at this point lol.

Looks fine to me if a bit scruffy which doesn't bother me at all.  Though I think I'll go with the default Hawke appearance without the Nutella on the nose.
