Yeah, not watching it either. I got as far as Solas asking the Inquisitor to come with him and then I stopped.
But those 2 seconds of Solas were enough.
Even the way he says "a word" is amazing.

He's so pretty, even on low graphics settings.
Picture:
He walks like a dancer.

Everybody but him. He hangs back in the shadows with a knowing smile. 46 minutes for the song.
Awwww.... ![]()
Okay, so there's a not-Mordin moment. LOL But he is the very model of a modern major elven mage. ![]()
Yeah. I'm wondering what the story reasons for this are. I would wave it off as preference except the SUPER STORY REASONS. I wonder what's different for elves in his story? Maybe just the degree he's willing to trust?
More importantly, do we get to comfort him if he accidentally blew up the world? (Good job breaking it, hero.)
Also super curious about that. Unless there's a major trust level that an elf would understand/forgive him moreso than the other races? Dunno.
Your last question is super important. I want to know this, too. And thank you for finally naming the TV Trope I was trying to remember that this was reminding me of! LOL

That picture just reminded me about how a dev at a convention said his jawbone necklace is modeled to be a wolf's jawbone.
So, here we go with the wolf theme again. Wolves in his room. Wolf jawbone necklace. Happy a pack of wolves was freed from demonic possession.
If it isn't a Fen'Harel thing, then maybe he really *does* have a thing for wolves, then? LOL
Because he's a... (wait for it)... lone wolf? ![]()
Lord, if I had any graphics skills, I would totally Photoshop a Three Wolf Moon T-shirt on him for the lulz. ![]()

LOL!
They're playing on low graphics settings. Gotta say, I'm glad Inquisition looks this good even on older rigs. I'm getting it on PS4 myself, but I have a friend who only has a PC and she's been worried about how it's gonna look.

So glad that the game performs so well even on low graphics. I can deal with shiny hair/lips, my poor graphics card is old xD

Meh...what's done, is done.
SO! I will continue to blissfully think of him as a redeemer. Yep. Sounds good. Not like we haven't had a heaping helping of redeemer types from BW. One of the main ingredients in BW fare. Along with salt. Lots of salt.
Still avoiding most spoilers, but I just couldn't take the idea of not knowing the (possibly) big one, for Solas.
My speculation on him wanting to move into "Eluvian-land", with someone he romances (and elves feel quite at home there), is making more and more sense to me. Surely I am not trying to pound a square peg in a round hole.

You guys all went nuts while I was doing things, I'm feeling a lot better about it all now, sign me up to the Solas Defence Squad!
I see the similarity with Mordin in the big **** up and the wanting to make it right, but for the love of the creators NO DEATH! Pleeaaaaaseeeeee!
Edit: Although having said that, the death seems to be completely up to us...phew!

So I caved... I was worried about the Solas outcome so figured it was better to know. If it turns out like everyone seems to think I'll be happy, and I agree that it wouldn't seem to make that much sense for him to be working against the inquisition the whole time so am hopeful it was just a big mistake he's trying to fix which I can totally get behind.
A difficult romance is good, and I love redemption. What I disliked about DA2 - it was a deliberate act of murder and exactly what had been planned. My hawkes killed most anders' because he was too far gone, there could be no redemption while possessed by Justice, it kind of felt like a mercy, If he had shown true remorse or asked for true help to separate from J I'm pretty sure I would have spared him always.

Surely I am not trying to pound a square peg in a round hole. But seriously, assuming he feels he can survive this ordeal, I could see him wanting to go some place "new". So a trip through an Eluvian still seems plausible.
Me too, I don't want to know anything about characters I'm saving for later PTs, was concerned about playing 50hours and then finding my dalish has a traitorous dead boyfriend... although after the Thane debacle I'm hardened ![]()

I definitely think he'll be trying to redeem himself. They said no villain romances, we've never had a pure evil companion character and I don't think a romance path would work for someone who was just evil.
And if this is the case, I'm REALLY excited omg. Gotta love those redemption stories, especially if he was deceived into letting this happen. If he truly IS trying to fix what he helped cause (and he must be. If he's trying to make sure all goes smoothly, he already failed by letting the Inquisitor live and showing them their power) that is an awesome story. I can see that causing him some major inner turmoil which would make for a great romance.
Also I TOTALLY CALLED THE COLE ONE OH MY GOSH. Literally that was the first thing I thought would happen when I found out he was in the game and I just started laughing when I saw that. I was actually hoping that would happen because that's pretty awesome.
