I want to remind people that Liz Lehtonen really likes Solas and his romance and calls him "lovely". In case that makes anyone feel better!
Had also forgotten about that. And she's the one who tweeted Solas's eyes to me when we finally got our answer as to their color! 
Okay... okay... think I'm finally, permanently in the "feels okay" camp. *phew*
The "resting creep face" is still making me LOL, though. I think for the moment I'm chalking it up to him really not liking that particular Quizzy, for whatever reason... or maybe it's not actually an outwardly-directed look at all. Maybe it's more of an internal reflection, like he's still processing/working through guilt at his Royal F**k-Up, maybe. And the expression just isn't really hitting a remorseful vibe but more of an angry vibe... angry at the situation or angry at himself even, maybe.
Dunno. I could be waaaaaaaaay off. But I'm thinking back to when I was working through the aftermath of my Mom's suicide, and I definitely had severe guilt issues I was going through over that, and I would put on the brave/nice face to people directly, but as soon as they turned around, I fell back to whatever emotion I was wrestling with. A lot of times that was guilt and anger more than sadness and remorse, and people would ask if I was mad when they caught my expression.
So, could possibly even be something like that... if the theory we've hashed out today is true and he's got some internal feels he's working through as a result of the chaos and trying to keep his guilt in it a secret.
Or maybe it's just bad gas.
