Btw, if there are any romance spoilers, should we make a new thread? Because personally I want to know lol, but not everyone does.
Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. I've seen a few people say they didn't want romance spoilers in here.

I don't want to see any romance spoilers, I really don't want any spoilers other the one referred to in the title ![]()
Maybe there will be the following options
1 - Kill Him
2 - Spare Him (leaves)
3 - Spare Him (stays if romanced)
Alright guys. I got some info from my source. The person asked not to be named or I would post the screenshots of the chat, but you're just going to have to have to trust me on this. Jello can confirm at least that I'm not pulling strings.

What info?
"Yes, Solas turns out to be evil in the end. Well, kinda. He kills Flemeth. He just leaves the Inquisition without a word and disappears."
"I knew there was something odd about him. I just knew it. But I didn't expect this... at all."
Aww. Well, Allan's tears prediction was true. And now I think he's Fen'harel if he can kill Flemeth. ![]()

The person didn't romance him, so I have no idea. :/ I'm hoping that you can get him to stay if you're in a romance with him

That's....kind of lame. Why did they give him a romance plot if that's what happens? And why is it elf only?
Guys I think you can choose between executing him or allowing him to redeem himself, so I don´t think he´s scripted to die
I also agree xD
I mean come on, who would want to kill such an awesome, cute, romance-able character! ![]()

Or at least have really high approval!

Is it possible it depends on the choices made in the game?
I find it strange that they'd kill Flemeth like this.

Yeah, the person didn't say whether or not he ALWAYS leaves. They also didn't say whether there was a chance to kill him either.
There might be a lot more circumstances to it
Now I'm imagining him pulling an Agent K move and getting eaten by Flemeth's dragon form (as it looked in that trailer), then blowing her up from the inside.
But one of the people with a review copy posted pictures of Solas in his party after the endgame?
Or was it right before,I can´t actually remember
That person getting eaten in the trailer isn't Solas. According to a sketched out scene in the artbook, it's a warden commander. She's just really close-shaved, I think.

Ok.
Once again I think Solas is possibly the one companion who won't leave, and if he is, then the dev who commented the last companion left "can betray you" means that he doesn't necessarily have to betray you.

I can confirm that Kirie showed me the screenshots of this conversation.
Also, he kills Flemeth?!
Does this mean that the whole "solas is responsible for opening the breach" thing is false? If his "betrayal" is killing Flemeth and leaving, that is.
@_@

Sadly, the only romance spoiler I saw involved a picture of Cassandra. I feel like early access won't take them that far into the game; plus, based on the way DA:2 was crafted, I feel like we won't have the chance to have a romance scene until after we get to Skyhold.
Flemeth?? Where was she hiding all this time??
But a lot of us have "killed" Flemeth before too. Does Solas perma-kill her? If so, he must be at least as uber-powered as she is.
