"Schedule an appointment with your therapist before installation."
Something lighthearted:
Varric: So here we are elf, cleaning up another human mess.
Solas: What would the Inquisition do without our stabilizing influence, Master Tethras?
Varric: I assume they'd just start burning things.
Solas: That does sound like most humans I know.
Cassandra: If you gentlemen are quite finished?
Varric: Now, now, don't get touchy. We're just here to lend you simple humans our help.
Solas: Before you cause everything to explode.
Poor Cassandra.
Is that a banter you made up, or was that in one of the streams ? Because that is gold ![]()

True, but your question wasn't a spoiler
Well, it might be, just like solas' ones. At this point, we don't have video confirmation for any of the companions endgame situations. And even after we get them, it could still be one outcome... It's gonna be a while until we know for sure all the possible endings.
Thanks Tamyn, I hadn't seen that one ![]()
I have no likes left to give. ![]()
I adore that banter.
Varric and Solas seem to mesh oddly well. They seem like complete opposites, but they have complimentary senses of humour.
Why do I get the feeling all these people that had Solas "betray the inquisition" was because they didn't his personal quest or didn't finish it to Solas' liking or just didn't have enough approval with him?
I'm hoping that is the case. If there's only one betrayer and it's him, then that means he's the one companion who can't be driven away.
Well now that we know that we can keep all of our party members and advisers in one run I'm feeling a lot less anxious.
I think that's the case. I watched a video of someone near endgame, at level 17, and she seemed to just ignore every character except the three she used, to the point where she didn't know much about them at all. She called Solas a "boring elven mage" and she said she didn't want to become a champion because she already had one (Blackwall), apparently ignoring that Cass has the Templar spec. She also couldn't even name Harding. It seemed that people who got advance copies to review just rushed through.

Judging from Patrick's Assquisitor, Solas can be driven away

Boring?! Jeez, some people have no taste.
Though I'm a bit worried that people aren't going to take the time to really know Solas because he isn't as big a personality as someone like Bull or Sera, and he doesn't have the history with the franchise like Varric, Cass, Cullen, and Leli do. Solas seems like a slow burn kinda guy.
Well, yes, but many people just don't give every character a chance. Nothing we can do about it. I'm trying to keep an open mind, even about the ones that don't really seem my cup of tea.
Pretty much all the reviews I read have said that this is Bioware's best ensemble cast to date, so I don't think I'll have to worry about disliking anyone.
I just remember from a Q&A session or something, one of the devs said that all of the companions can be driven away but one, and that one can betray you.

That's why marketing never uses him. :/

Their loss. ![]()
Plus I'm beginning to suspect that he also didn't get much marketing because he's pretty much made of spoilers.
The reviewer who posted this says: Solas...one of the most incredible characters in Dragon Age Inquisition
One thing I noticed is that while everybody can flirt with Cullen and Cassandra, only female elves even get the flirt option for Solas, at least from what I've seen.
Thanks Tamyn
I was periodically checking that channel for their next video.
Okay, watching that conversation just made me want to romance him with a mage even more!
Aww I was kind of of hoping to flirt with him while using my human quizzy while making up a headcanon of unrequited love. I would've really liked to see how he would turn her down, oh well.
