Yeah the thing I'm questioning most is why they made him a love interest. There's no universe in which that romance can end happily or even have any sort of satisfying conclusion from what I can tell.

 

And it seems like a blatant lie to say there's no villain romances if he's the evil, murdering Dread Wolf. The only thing I can assume is that there's more to this than we're going to know for a while. Maybe he was being genuine when he said that he didn't intend for Corypheus to use the orb the way he did or to cause all those people to die. Would also explain why he's helping you to stop everything. Fixing his mistakes and all.

You're asking someone to defend how they intend to play the game. It wasn't a harmless question it was a lead in to telling them how very wrong they are for wanting to romance him even if he's responsible for all the death. That is not going to be happening is this group.

You are reading way too much in what I said. First of all, I would not ever presume to tell someone how to play the damn game. You do not know me, so how dare you accuse me of getting ready to rip into someone for their choices in an RPG.

And if he really does love you, that story is classic. The God who loved the mortal. Always tragic but totally badass. It figures that the least edgy PC I've ever created gets the edgiest romance of the entire damn game series or possibly Bioware history!    Also, is the mark still on your hand at the end? I would have thought they'd clear that up somehow.

 

Now I'm going to be watching out for all the hints they drop. And good lord they kind of beat you over the head with it when you think about it. So much so that him being Fen'Harel was speculated back when we had nothing to go on! Wolf jawbone necklace, sympathizing with the wolves in that one quest, I'm sure there will be more.

 

And gosh darnit Weekes that entire Solas interview was trolling to the max. I feel like he deserves a damn award for Mordin and Solas. The Life Ruination Award.
