I wasn't strong enough........ I watched the ending and last part was insane.

But also..... This isn't the end, there will be continuation and bioware should start writing it now! Lol

However I'm looking forward uproar of unspoiled fans after they get to an end LOL

The other guys don't interest me (exept for Dorian, but he won't love my female character xD)
And I don't want to judge before I've experienced everything myself

It will be interesting to see how it feels, after playing the game and...everything that entails. In DA2, I knew about the Chantry and I was expecting to be horrified at Anders, but I wasn't (for a lot of reasons that I won't get into here). But I think it helped that I felt like he genuinely loved Hawke, in his own, crazypants way. This is going to be different, I think. Even before I saw this confirmation, I was thinking that he's just slightly too canny to be your ordinary, average, wandering loner, especially with some of the flirty back and forth.

 

I don't know. Romance speculation aside, I think this is incredibly cool, to be honest. I know a few people who plan on romancing him who are going in without spoilers and holy ****, I'm going to be able to hear their heads explode from half a country away.

I feel so bad for them, I'm glad I spoiled myself here, I think if I hadn't I would have been utterly crushed and may have just not played again... but still, we don't know how things are going to work out...

If I didn't spoil myself I'd be devastated. Bioware seriously created major plot twists in this game.

I went in to DA2 blind, I did not follow or read any spoilers if I did same here.... Idk how much time would have to pass for me to play again.

I'm hoping outcome would be slightly different if Solas is with quizzy.

I'm always totally fine with running off into the sunset with Anders, I actually liked that, it's my DA2 canon...I like that option..

Well, at least I won't have to feel bad for romancing him with my 26 year old elf now. "Something over fourty" yeah, sure. But do you guys think he just went with it or he, I dunno, "woke up" fourty years ago or something?

Varric will certainly get a story out of that one. "Down with the Wolf" "Face the Dread" or "Wolf Style" would certainly be great "romance novels".

I'm feeling better about things since his end goal is to "help the people"...and as for what happens with Flemeth, I read a comment where soneone said it looked more like a sacrifice since they're friends, I'd actually kinda like that..

I can't really say that I'm happy about it. If I'm 100% honest I liked the idea of him just being an apostate that screws up royally and helps Cory open the Breach. But even after everything, he's easily the most interesting character of the BioWare series for me and thus still my favorite so far. I have a thing for well-written villains (I think Loghain is one of the best characters of the DA series) so I hope Solas's arc is compelling.

 

Cari will stay with him because I'm in for the long haul and because none of the other romances really jump out at me. I probably won't play the game more than once for a while and I'm satisfied leaving her with the most intriguing and darkest ending. At least one PC will get her badboy! I'd probably be more reluctant if my canon Hawke romanced Anders but after Alistair and Fenris, I think at  least one PC should have a questionable romance ending just to mix things up.

 

So yeah, Solas will be my canon DAI romance for better or for worse. I'm REALLY glad I spoiled myself because I would have been pissed finding out in-game. This kind of out of nowhere, over the top plot twist was never really my style and I would have just groaned and assumed BioWare was jumping the shark and it would have ruined my first playthrough experience. Now I have some time to process the idea and hope that BioWare is going somewhere interesting with this and didn't just create Solas the Big Bad for a future game.

But they can't come with you and fight beside you, and being at the front line together does have something about it. Well, that said I'm still a hardcore Cullen fans & definitely going to romance Josie at one of my later PTs.

 

You know, there are something that's cute about having your LI/your character coming to aid at battle when the other is attacked... And those party banters too, and those battle cries.

I really don't know. It's pretty questionable. So are all the stories about Fen'Harel, considering Flemeth who is presumably Mythal greets him like an old friend. Shouldn't she hate him?

It's possible
But I think he simply took her power when he took her life.

People are saying she sacrifices herself so that he can have her power...I've only seen one person say that they think she might have done that and the only reason they gave was the way she says that she's sorry before she dies. I dunno...

But the way she says she´s sorry, I don´t know it almost seems like she´s apologizing for something she´s about to do (like killing him or taking over his body) Which would suck because I´d love to learn more about him. Do you think they´ll deal with this in an expansion? And also do you think he tells the Inquisitor about who he really is?

That's what I was thinking earlier if the tales about Fen'Harel are true wouldn't she hate him? She called him "Old Friend".

 

Of course the tales about the Dread wolf...could be false and he's not as evil as some might think. Also on this person saying she is sacrificing herself...well she did say she had an appointment to keep,I wonder if that was it.

I'm not sure whether to run screaming or roll an elf to see how they pull ir off.

 

And Cullen is definitely looking like the option for straight women with a low angst tolerance.
