I'm...really not sure how to feel about this. I'm not disappointed because I was sort of expecting it. And it makes for one hell of a story (and all of the parallels with Andraste are kind of amazing). But...dammit, why did he have to be the Morrigan?
 
We'd better get some Witch Hunt-style DLC or I am gonna be pissed.
 
It makes Varric's comment about tragic heroes all the more prescient. Also I'm gonna make sure to always pull for the Elven gods because in hindsight this random screenshot is rather romantic.

With it sounding like he's gone for good after the post-credits screen, that's gonna leave me putting off main questline stuff for soooo long as I do all the sidequests I possibly can.

 

Must have maximum Solas time.

Haha I overwrote the save before it so I can't go back and record! But it seemed genuine to me. Deets below:

You initiate it but he returns it very eagerly. He takes you to a Fade version of Haven (and for some reason you don't realize you're in the Fade until later even though you JUST went through Haven getting wiped out). He talks about how he watched over you while you were out and how he was frustrated at not being able to figure out how to seal the rifts and not being able to speak with spirits to help him when the Veil was so messed up. He claims he almost ran away because he was afraid (which we all know is probably a lie lol) and Cassandra was threatening to kill him if he didn't produce results. 

 

The line that lead up the kiss was "You changed everything". And your flirt is to comment on that and basically ask if he's saying you changed everything for him personally and not just for the world and he says it again, once more with personal feeling and all that. You call him a "sweet talker" and have a choice to kiss him then and I've never clicked a button so fast in my life! He's starting to turn away but you take his jaw and pull him back and kiss him. Then you start pulling away and he grabs you and pulls you in for another. 

 

At that point he talks about how they shouldn't be doing this "here" but he always felt more comfortable in dreams. It's only then that the Inquisitor processes that she's in the Fade and he tells her to "wake up" and boom, you sit up in bed. You can go talk to him for real right after that and he starts expressing some doubt, something about it possibly being "dangerous" and if you express that you're serious he tells you he needs time to think things over. That's pretty much it.

 

I think he calls you Lethallan in the scene. I might be mistaking it for the time he calls you Lethallan outside of the romance scene. Every now and then he pops that word in there when talking to you.

 

Oh and fun fact: Solas apparently REALLY doesn't like tea. There's a scene where I was laughing so much because of the faces he's making over some tea. So dramatic!

That's the starter romance scene. There are more to unlock later and maybe we get it on with the Dread Wolf then . His just doesn't involve sex in the first scene but I don't know if any of the others do either.
