The romances this time are more gradual. So much more in depth than anything before.
I'm finding Solas' to be everything I wanted. I feel like I'm watching a movie.
It's not all "kiss, sex, I love you"
It's a build up that's so worth the pay off.
Plus, yes there is sexy times toward the end. There are three major romance scenes I think.
I squealed at my tv and scared my cat. I'm really really glad it wasn't spoiled for me because I was surprised and it made my night. Lol.

I haven't yet, but I was told by my cousin. I didn't ask for details. It's what the game guide means by "culminating your relationship" after the tower of mythal. Lol.
I only got the kiss scene so far. I'm in the process of finishing his main plot quest which unlocks the second scene and officially starts the relationship.

Also, yes he seems to care a great deal and genuine. It's all in his voice. *swoons*

It all happens in the fade while you're dreaming. You don't know it till the very end of the scene and he leans over and sexy whispers "Wake up" and you wake up in bed all "Holy crap!"
The next time you see him he's all "Sleep well?" And you can HEAR the smirk in his voice. So awesome.

Gareth David-Lloyd does SUCH an awesome job. Solas is somehow infuriatingly charming even in the times when he acts superior or arrogant. Also, this particular line of his when you ask him about Corypheus slayed me. SLAYED ME.

 

Paraphrased, it was: "A real God does not have to declare himself as such. Doing so is a sure sign of a fake/fool."

 

YOU WOULD KNOW WOULDN'T YOU, SOLAS?? It's actually pretty glorious knowing what his true nature is while going through the game!

I know, right? When he goes to badass superior mode, its strangely incredibly hot. Like when he pulls you aside before you get sky hold. The way he lights that veil fire. That whole convo had me hnngg. Yeah, when he gets infuriated or annoyed the whole "Im a secret god" thing starts to hint.

It's great that we can read between the lines. I really think Solas will be the character that seperates the people, even more than Anders. A lot of player will want to romance him after they played through the game once and a lot of his fans will be dissappointed. Hah, I can't wait to finally get the game...

 

Btw, does he have more than one nickname for the Inquisitor?

Theory about the end credit scene with Flemmeth and Solas.

What if the reason she says sorry is because she was the woman in the fade that gave you the mark? Ultimately screwing up Fen'rahal aka Solas's plans? So they apologize to each other, he looks angry and kills her.
Flemmeth is Mythal. So what ever the dread wolves intentions, I doubt Mythals was less grey. Cause I don't think he is evil, just... Well its complicated.
Just a theory. Not there yet.

The kiss scene starts the path to a romance. So I'm assuming after his personal quest that can officially start it, he will have one. The last romance scene I can't wait for. Please give me naked Solas with scars! *crossed fingers* ooo or wolf tattoos.... Ill settle for just naked though.
Might just be shirtless. As long as his skin is shown, I'm good.

He asks you to free a sport friend of his and you should attempt it. Failing to even try causes great disapproval and might lead to a break the chance of a romance if you don't apologize enough.

Cullen:

Ordering him to take lyrium is the problem, not just talking about it. Even so, it only ruins the romance if you insist on ordering him to take it.

Well, it seems both crises are a lot easier to avoid than people were saying. They involve going quite obviously against the LIs' wishes.

Bioware was never subtle with romances, so why did you expect hidden traps? It'll be a giant sign with written "Don't" every time you get to it.

See, I am doing my masters now...My parents did not approve of it and wanted me to work but I wanted to study because I like studying, liked understanding the world (me & Solas will be besties in real life LOL)....

 

Because of that, I had to fund myself for a bit until I got a scholarship...Which meant I had to sell my gaming rig for it...It was one of the hardest things I had ever had to do in my life, emotionally speaking...

 

Right now I am doing my masters, I wish to complete it first and secure an offer to do PhD before getting back into gaming as a serious hobby...For now I just follow the news...
