This is why I love it when people upload their, like, -1000000 approval companion responses, and break-up scenes and angry accusations and all that... even if you don't have the heart to go through with those responses, seeing the pissed off responses really helps you understand the characters better. It gives you a whole new perspective.
Could somebody tell me how Solas reacts (besides, um, negatively) to the Inq not allowing him to kill the mages? Anybody got any quotes or screenies? Or how about that scene where he gets punched in the face... >____> Wanna explain that one?

I never allowed Solas to kill the mages.

My favorite is when he gave that angry annoyed SIGH when my Inquiz recruited rather than exiling the Wardens and then greatly disapproved LOL

 

my Inquisitor and Solas have such a tempestuous relationship hahahaha

 

his approval drops when they first have a conversation a lot, enough for him to be like "of course" and "Inquisitor" in that loaded I hate you voice wahahahah

 

it gets pretty antagonistic.

Haha. I also let the Wardens stay (do you really want another Origins?) and I was so upset he got so upset. In retrospect Solas you, inadvertently (hopefully) caused the Breach aka thousands if innocent people dying, have no room to judge!

My Lavellan was also pro Dalish... what do you mean you've run unto Dalish before... Ahhh but love triumphs in the end.

I always got the impression from that scene that he knows there's no point to what he's about to do and Lavellan is reminding him of it, even if he doesn't want to hear it. The way she says his name is more like "Solas, come on. Let's just go." except packed into just "Solas".

 

He just gives her this tired look and says he needs time to himself and walks away. But ooooooh gosh his personal quest got me wondering what would happen if something was to happen to Lavellan. He would go FULL Dread Wolf on somebody's ass, especially now that he probably has a lot of his power back.

Anywho, it sounds like this is one of those moments I'll be glad for the opportunity to disagree... my Lavellan will be like WTF you can't just light people on fire 'cause they're dicks. When I first lookef at the character blurb for choosing an elf character in Inquisition I remember thinking. "Oh I hope my Dalish character will shout Dalish war cries like Merrill did."

Looking back it's probably a good thing Lavellan doesn't go running around shouting "Dread Wolf take you!" at everyone.

Speaking of the Vallaslin. For those who chose to remove there's did Corypheus say anything? I kept mine and during my battle with Corypheus he said something along the line of "you proudly were the markings of a slave."

Hmm. I... actually don't remember. I feel like he did, but my memory is so awful (and I was definitely not getting enough sleep at that point, which didn't help) that I honestly have no idea. I do have a save right before the final fight, though, so I could fight him again and listen for it if no one else can remember either!

...so not only did I name my elves Fennel and Coriander, I also gave my Solas-romancing elf the Mythal vallaslin by chance?? What. 

(Okay, Cori is a bit of a stretch, but combined with Fennel it's just weird to me. :| I just wanted cute herb names... I didn't know that their names would end up being similar to the two characters that put everyone in this mess. And I especially didn't know that Fennel's boyfriend would end up being the Dread Wolf himself. No one let me name my next protagonist by myself, please.)

 

Actually, thinking about this more, now I'm even more confused that my Lavellan asked "do you think this Mythal could still be alive" in the Temple of Mythal. What do you mean, "this Mythal," Lavellan? HER TATTOO IS ON YOUR FACE. did you pick it just because you thought trees were neat, too...
