My theory is there might be a small, last hold out of ancient elves. Felessan seemed to claim to have people, but that Briala 'wouldn't want to meet them.'

I like both ideas. That there could be a last hold out of ancient elves that he intends to build upon. In the moment, my thoughts went immediately to wherever it was Solas himself came from but that was before the that mic drop at the end.

 

Speaking of that one spoiler at the very end, I did go back to watch it again (and again). It's not any clearer and if anything I just have more questions now. Have to go revisit the scene with Kieran & Flemeth. The handover of the OGB soul appeared much more contained and obvious than whatever is happening in that last scene.

This is referring to the fact that Cole's random greeting dialogue are spoilers to movies and films.

That's what I thought at first, but I believe someone said this references Knight of the Old Republic - with Revan and Bastilla

I wonder ... IF there is a possible Wolf Hunt DLC, instead of the Inquisitor looking for Solas, what if enemies of Solas (whomever they may be) know of his past working with the Inquisitor. Therefore, putting her in danger, and he comes back to save her? (But of course, these events would not completely void our Inquisitor of bad ass - butt kicking moments)

Cole does make obscure comments about companions for sure. He said one about Blackwall that could absolutely not be interpreted as anything else.

Depends on whether or not it shows up outside of a Solavellan playthrough, I suppose.

If it's exclusive, then maybe. It reminds me of his other line, If you're real, then it means everyone could be real. Which I interpret as... if he sees Lavellan as an individual, loves her for who she is, then he has to see the Dalish, city elves, etc. as individuals, too. He can't just discount them for being ignorant or desperate. He has a responsibility to them, 'cause he put them in this mess trying to get them out of another mess LOL.

The problem with the line you mentioned (besides some people linking it to Revan etc) is that I don't think Solas was ever the enemy. I mean, until we find out what his plans are, and whether he intentionally gave the orb to Corypheus knowing what he would do with it...

He says he's tired of fighting but I think a certain someone inadvertently convinced him that it was time to assume the title of God of Rebellion once again. (And got her heart broke for it. Oops.)

Has anyone tried another LI already ? I just can't get myself to get another LI... Only way I could get to Skyhold with a Cullen LI was by not talking to Solas at all.. I can't handle being friendzoned by him !!!! The VA is soo good. His friendly voice is cold as ice. Brrrrr!

In have second play through going now with a rogue Trevelyan ( a Lavellan would inevitablely be drawn in my Solas). She's going to romance Iron Bull, would've done Cullen next but I wanted a rogue and Cullen is meant for the irony of a mage romance X).
