http://gamingtrend.c...f-role-playing/"As a long-time packrat RPG player, I was sad to sell my companion’s possessions. In my head I struggled with freeing up one more inventory slot, or selling off The Iron Bull’s namesake axe, or Cassandra’s Seeker shield. Call me a romantic, but those things should be proudly displayed on a wall or at least tucked in a box. To have your own fortress and not have a room to pile your junk can make inventory management a needless frustration."
For the record, crafting materials don't take up space in our inventory, but still...
I HATE being forced to sell/destroy loot in an RPG in order to make room for more loot. I just assumed we would have the option of coming back to Skyhold and dumping all of our extra loot in a storage chest--like we could in the past two games--so we don't have to carry everything around at all times...
Edit: this isn't a "game breaking" issue and nobody here is going to cancel their preorder over this, but it is a rather annoying and inexplicable oversight.
What do you guys think about this?
How did the devs overlook this??
Edit: When asked on Twitter whether there was a "storage chest to hold all of our things in outside of the inventory," Mike Laidlaw responded with "Nope," essentially confirming what another reviewer called a "pointless inventory limitation".
