I don't think the premise that "I don't want/use this feature ergo it must not be important" being put forward by some is a particularly cogent argument.

It's all just fun and games until Bioware takes out something they want.

"Oh, well I never played anything but the Human Noble anyway, so I don't care if they remove the other races".

I hope the save game editor works at least for increasing inventory space. Never liked inventory managing.

They took out attribute points, you don't see me whining about it.

But I see you whining a lot about other people posting their concerns. Take a guess now, which one is more childish.

They didn't "take out" attribute points, they just modified the way they are allocated.

I suppose you could say the same about the new inventory if it's true that crafting materials don't take up space... But still, by completely removing the storage chest, they hamstringed a bunch of hoarders who like to collect everything in the game. Is it really so hard to give us a chest to dump our loot in, Bioware?

Learn the difference between 'whining' and 'mocking people for concerns they have no way of verifying and freaking out about it', and then come talk to me.

Wow, this seems like a huge oversight, hopefully this is something they patch in, or release as free DLC, because I just can't see the logic behind it.

I never use storage chests anyway. I always viewed an inventory system as a fun challenge to overcome. Do I really NEED to keep around those fifteen iron daggers and forty copies of Fornax?

I am all in for inventory limitations, you can take with you what would you could realistically carry, and then some more because this is a game after all. Invisible cart where i can store dozen tons of stuff just does not work for me. On the other hand, storage chests are a must.
Just my two cents, ill go with just about anything Bioware goes with. Unless there is a some kind of kitten carrying a magical bag on his back and follows you around. That would be just silly.

Good for you.
It's funny, though, because you say "I don't care" and yet you wasted several minutes of your life searching for GIFs to express your lack of cares. Bizarre priorities but, then again, I'm complaining about the lack of a storage chest in a video game. :P

Think of it this way most of the stuff you will get as far as inventory will be armor and weapons. Codex will not count pretty sure the chairs furniture and similar things will not count towards inventory. I also think potion's stack also I think there is a way to upgrade inventory space how much that is don't know doubt it will always remain at sixty. Also When you destroy the item don't think you get any components back unless it's a few.

Would really like to hear some official confirmation on this. Simply put is there no storage in our Keep?

Many things you will pick up will have a unlimited store space it's just mostly weapons and armor that you will store so in that sense the inventory is bigger

Point. And I suppose I fell into my own trap of making unverifiable assumptions about what the DAI attribute points will look like.

Soooo this thread is only for people who are upset? I thought this was a thread to voice one's opinion. Which is all I did. Didn't speak for anyone else.

I still figure the reviewer just flat out missed it, for one. And two, you don't it will be an issue as you haven't played the game and thus do not know how the inventory is balanced.

If, after playing the game, you find that you need more junk than the base inventory supplies, then I will consider this a valid criticism. Assuming, of course, our intrepid reviewers actually got something right for once.

I don't need to play it to know i will hate it. I hated it in DAO, i hated it in Oblivion and Skyrim (hence i used the bag of holding mod), i hate it in TERA rising i'm playing and i'm pretty sure i'll hate it in DAI. No need to wait and play the game.

Given the number of times I've seen you post "I don't care, because I never ...", I have to wonder if you actually play these games or just come here to troll.

Or it could be I don't care about those things. Why would you presume I'm lying or trolling? Are people who DO care trolling? Oh, I get it, only people with a certain opinion are allowed to post.

Tolerance goes both ways, you know.

It does seem a bit weird that we would have mount storage but not actual storage at the keep.

Because hoarding means missing out on a part of the game they want you to enjoy. And because if you let people get ridiculously huge inventories, then they'll hate having to manage those inventories.

Forcing people to do something they don't want to rarely makes them enjoy it. If anything, resentment is much more common.

But it sounds like the limitation is there to make some of the "inquisition perks" useful, that is, the inventory expansion ones. If that's indeed the reasoning behind it then they really should've known better -- they'd already made this mistake with the number of tactics slot in DAO tied to talent points you'd have to spend on them, and got enough backlash that they did away with it in DA2. So, in the end, no idea what they're thinking this time.
