Anyone know if the Collector Edition and Inquisition Edition have the same size guide aside from the aesthetics of the outside framework?
This has been a matter of some confusion, especially since different retailers provide different page counts (Amazon and BioWare's site differ by 30+pp. on the Collector's Edition alone, so at least one must be wrong).
From Prima's announcement of the Inquisitor Edition: "368-page Collector’s Edition hardcover guide with unique cover treatments matching the container"
I take that to mean that it's exactly the same save for the cover itself. I would think that there would have been some mention of it in the advertising if the IE guide were bigger (dimensionally) and/or longer (content-wise) than the CE. I also think it would cost Prima a lot of money to reformat the whole thing (for bigger dimensions), which would strike me as somewhat foolish economically speaking when there wasn't any need to do so.
While Amazon lists the CE at 384pp., I suspect that's outdated information. Amazon is known for requiring publishers to provide data such as page count long before publication, so it's quite possible that Prima put down 384 as a working number. At any rate, I would very much doubt that the CE would be longer than the IE, especially by nearly 20 pages.
