[Warden Commander Aeducan]

Yeah, I was so surprised that he can actually drink & jokes & play cards with the other. But well, the way he was depicted up to now is quite the rigid commander.

 

And I really love Josie... "that'll ruin the inquisition!...tell me about that again!". And actually, I am glad that Varric gets well with all of them. It's weird that in previous games the only character that I always try to please is Varric. When Varric disapproves I'll either not bringing him at reload or change my decision.

We always know Cullen as dutiful Templar, a stern and earnest man who believe in his order cause. While in DAO...let's just say that is not the best example of his character nor his finest day.

I love her too! I think Varric is generally a friendly and easy going guy, but I'm glad that he seems to enjoying himself even in the Inquisition. I was worried that BioWare might pull Anders on Varric, but that is not the case anymore.

Cullen in DA:O is really not in his best parts, except maybe that it was quite funny that my mage made him run away when flirted at Mage Origin . But well, I'm making huge allowances for him since after months of torture, I would even expect him to be in worse state.
 

Josie's definitely cute, even in trailer she came running and hug the inquisitor. It's just... cute. Wow.

 

I wonder how Varric will when Hawke will be at Skyhold?

siding with Celene or Gaspard or Briala

rebuilding the Grey Wardens or exiling them

saving Hawke or Stroud/Alistair/Loghain

choosing Leliana or Cassandra or Vivienne to be the new Divine

 

any others? do we know specifically what decisions make the companions leave or stay or die? so far i've read/seen:

Cassandra always stays

Blackwall leaves forever if you romance him and convince him to stay with the Wardens

Varric leaves forever if you let Hawke die

Cole is killed if his disapproval gets too low

Varric can be killed after his personal quest if you keep the shard

Solas can be killed after his personal quest after he reveals he was responsible for the Breach

Solas always leaves at the end of the main story if he stays

You can reject Vivienne, Sera, Blackwall, Iron Bull, Dorian and Cole from joining the inquisition and they can never come back (Cassandra, Varric, Solas being the only compulsory companions)

 

What about the others? I don't want to accidentally ****** someone off forever. I thought the whole game would leak by now, also want to know about Sandal

Apparently yes, if you killed the Arishok in DA2, he'll become Arishok & he can be an ally but you must not bring IB or be a Qunari Mage.

Makes my glad my canon playthrough is my Surana/Leliana one with Alistair and Anora on the throne and Logain as a Warden. But...I don't want to kill Loghain either...but I can't let Hawke die....dilemmas.

Loghain is a Warden in my main/canon play-through. While Alistair is a king. By the stone! you're cruel, BioWare. I don't want to choose between these two at all. I don't want to kill one of my previous characters off, but I really like Loghain and I don't want to lose him either. Sorry, Hawke. I'm ok with sacrificing Stroud for you, but not Alistair or Loghain.

My first Solas-romancing import has a Warden Loghain so it won't be difficult, but my poor mage Warden. She was my first Warden.

If I kill Hawke in my second game, then both of my play-throughs will be flipping Varric the bird. (First is red lyrium out of curiosity.) Poor Varric.
