Vivienne's position is so weird. She says every Circle was different but she has no trouble belittling the rebel mages even though it's clear she had an uncommonly easy life. And then she says the rebellion started because the mages lacked perspective - they didn't know what life was like outside the Circle. Well, keeping them confined would lead to that lack of perspective, wouldn't it? It's also interesting to contrast her account of the rebellion with Cass blaming the Lord Seeker.
It's all very interesting and I'm glad a pro-Circle view is represented, but the way she presents it is a lot worse than Wynne, I think.

Yeaaah, I'm not sure what to think of Viv. Like, I get what she's saying about the mage rebellion coming at the exact wrong time...but she doesn't seem to get that freedom might be a worthy goal in and of itself. I'm also suspicious of her views because they seem to be very based on self-interest. Of course you're going to be pro-circle if all of your power is tied up in the circle. She also seems to assume that everyone is as out for themselves as she is.

I can't wait for their other companion videos. The people streaming at best skip all investigative options and at worst skip cutscenes altogether. As if I cared about watching 4 hours of running and combat ![]()

Combining those Vivienne videos with the dialogue in her recruitment quest, it seems like the Duke is an old man with bad health that Vivienne seduced to go up the power ladder. I wonder what's her plan for when he dies? Though maybe he's not that important anymore now that she's got her own power and hopes to be Grand Enchanter.

I wonder if we can support her on this.

My guess is that we can support the restoration of the Circle - no idea if she would actually manage to become Grand Enchanter, but it sounds plausible.

So Sebastian's logic in dealing with murder of innocents is...murder of innocents? How..pure and chaste of him.
Wait, we have info on Seb ? WHERE ?

At the end of this video there's a banter about Sebastian if you spared Anders. I think if you don't he has a war table mission.

Lol. you can invite Fiona to Skyhold after Dorian's recruitment. That means, after you deal with Alexius and stop his time magic in redcliffe, there will be a scene when Alistair and Anora arrive at recliffe..
You should put that in spoiler tags. That's a main quest spoiler, which is not what everybody here wants to read.

It's a spoiler thread.
Yes, but it has the most general title and is mostly filled with links and very minor character things. Some people don't want all kinds of spoilers (not me, I read all of them). You're very welcome to start a thread about main quest spoilers if you'd like. Or just spoiler tag and say it's story-related. Thanks for the tag.

And I love that we can ask several companions/advisors what they think about the others.

After watching these intro videos I'd like to take a moment to appreciate Jon Curry's voice acting. It's just so good. And when friendly responses are chosen he sound very personable.
