So are there any Cass spoilers such as her breaking up with you if something happens? I already know the info from her companion quest but does anyone know how to start it or anything else about her?

It seemed to be tied up with the templar main quest, but I'm not sure.

In the Dorian thread someone posted that in a convo the topic of traveling the world to di Something (I guess about Seekers), and you can encourage her or Not.

Couldn't the same apply to Dorian too?

Yes, but I think the Cass part wasn't a theory, but Something he/she saw.Couldn't the same apply to Dorian too?
Anyway, we have a choice.

Personly this stuff just makes me even more interested in the character. This is a little bit different then say Conrad as Blackwall has showen he CAN fight. I really do wonder why he decided to cosplay as a warden now.
Also love that Bull has a thing for redheads.
I agree at first I was not that interested in him but now? I can't wait to get into his story and find out why he is pretending to be a warden.

Just saw a "Dorian greatly approves" - I'm totally on board with killing Venatori, Dorian, don't worry.

Cool. Maybe I was right about the approval grind. ![]()

Also, I now have hope that people will stop calling the qunari kossith now, but I'm probably deceiving myself.
I never liked that to be honest. They stopped being Kossith when all there ancestors converted to the Qun and became Qunari. Kossith probably had their own culture, one long dead.
I agree. But now Bull says they probably didn't even look like qunari so maybe we can put the whole argument to rest?
Nope! I thought I would hate that conversation because, while I call them "qunari" normally, when there's a fight about this, you best believe I go to bat for "kossith." In large part because I find Qunari lore radically annoying and resist it like a five-year-old resists eating broccoli. Of my many unattractive character traits, that is... well, one of them, anyway.
spoiler-tagged because this conversation ended twenty hours ago and no one wants to read this:

They're actually just called Qunari now, too.

So there's some clarification on Cole having two recruitment scenes: Apparently siding with the mages gets you Dorian and siding templars gets you Cole.
Whoever you don't recruit shows up to warn you before the Haven thing.

Very interesting, and I like that. Encourages replay value. since I would take it that choosing one side will lock you out of the other factions area.

Apparently you can start the mage quest without locking out the templar quest, but not the reverse. At least that's what it says on the IGN guide.

Interesting. So to get the most you would want to help the mages first, open up Redcliffe then go to the Templars? If so that's good to hear, being locked out of an area I want to explore would suck ;_;

And you can get Dorian without having to pick a side if you go to Redcliffe first.

Do you have to side with the templars in the end if you want to unlock both areas, though?
Man, that'd suck.

Yes, the guide says to go to the mage rebels, unlocking Redcliffe, and then go back to Haven to discuss the choice with the advisors. Then you go with whomever you want.
And you can get Dorian without having to pick a side if you go to Redcliffe first.
Well, not really. You can meet him, but not recruit him.

No. Apparently siding with the templars doesn't unlock more areas.

"However, choosing either one will permanently lock out the other."
No, you can only do one.

Yup, the area for the Templars is a self contained area where Redcliffe is part of the Hinterland map so yeah, even if you don't want to side with the mages, better to open the area first just to explore. Kinda silly really though. The Mage area should also be self contained :/

"The next step of the quest is to run a mission called from the war table. However, if you run this mission, you will permanently be unable to bring the mages into the inquisition, so you may want to hold off until you complete the first part of In Hushed Whispers so you gain access to Redcliffe Village."
Here you go, this is the tip on the templar mission. In Hushed Whispers is the mage mission.
