I almost didn't recognize Alistair without his original hair style.  I think they both look fine for the most part and expected them to look a bit different than in DA:O.

The good king and queen keep getting mercilessly beaten with the ugly stick with every iteration of a game it seems. I distinctly remember one of them looking better at least charming before.

Thank the Maker he was allowed one haircut in the last ten years, too. The faux hawk was cute when he was 19, at 30 it'd look a bit passé.

I think they both look good, considering they have spent the last ten years married to each other.  Anora's appearance translated well to the new engine, I think she's as beautiful as ever, and Alistair looks a lot better than he did in DA2.  He doesn't have that "I've been drowning my worries in vats of cheese" puffy appearance to him.

I guess I am the odd man out here because I don't see it for either of them at all.  If it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have any idea who those 2 were.  Personally I am not liking the changes.

Gotta say I'm pretty underwhelmed, but then, my expectations were low to begin with. Everyone looks like a weird pseudo-realistic caricature of themselves. I get a real uncanny valley vibe off everyone in DAI and I don't like it.

Well Alistair looks better here than he did in DA2... much better! My playthrough wont include Anora.

You know what? I honestly dont get anyone whos claims Ali looks weird/ugly.
 
I think he looks great, exactly how I would expect someone 20+ going on 30+ to look. He's aged in a graceful, yet recognizable manner.

Even Anora looks good imo, a bit heavy on the blush though.

I only intend to import 3 world states, two with Ali as King (Anora + Warden as Queen) and one as a Warden, so I am happy to see he redesign works so well for me.

If that is Alistair, then That cant be Anora next to him. Because My warden married Alistair and I'm a jealous wench (add a B in front of wench)and wouldn't let my man near that banshee. My Warden is the Queen of Ferelden and Alistair's wife.  Assuming this is correct, then that woman has to be a misrepresented picture of my warden.  I drank the potion as well from Wardens Peak, so that allowed me to have children.

Confirms who the blonde hair Warden was in the Enemy of Thedas trailer, I like the look for Alistair I guess, not for Anora. That's gonna be my scene for my first play through because I had Alistair marry Anora, I'm already excited to see them

That's the Ferelden style... leather and fur... They would be more glamourous with silk and jewels like Orlais's spring fashion theme

It's there, it's just very faint with the lighting.

 

I think he looks great though. DA2 made him look a little fatter in the cheeks, like he'd been sneaking into the palace larder late at night to gorge on cheese. Thankfully, he appears to have been caught and forced to diet, while they fitted a massive padlock lock on the larder door...
