My first Inquisitor is basically a self-insert, so he's going to end up taking every flirt option presented because I'm shameless that way.

I'm going to make a male dwarven or qunari inquisitor just to make Cullen uncomfortable for sure now!

Seconded! I'll even make a Trevelyan Warrior just for him...

And I don't particularly believe, from what we've seen, that Dorian is "gay-acting." Also, since you mention Kaidan, Bull is probably the most masculine man open to men ever. So maybe that's up your alley. Ahem. So to speak. <__<
I can't see my Inquisitor being attracted to a Qunari or anyone with horns for that matter.

I'm not sure I'd call Sebastian, a celibate archer, any kind of "trademark jock."
Fair enough.
Perhaps what I meant was the most attractive guy in the game (Alistair, Sebastian, Cullen, Kaidan)

He is attractive
Disagree. I find him repellent both in looks and personality.
Although, I do love Kaidan and Alistair. Not a big fan of Cullen, but I'm trying to keep an open mind and give him another chance with the new game.

Repellent?
Well i must admit his insecurity can be a trifle annoying but beyond that? He really doesn't have any serious issues.

On my third playthrough I was planning to romance Bull with a female Adaar, but after his romance spoilers, I realized I couldn't because it would be character breaking for her.
But then, I saw we could flirt with Vivienne and it works.
Viv might end up a bit irritated, but I can definitely get behind an unrequited love romance-arc.

He is attractive
That's fairly subjective, he had the face of a douchy teen imo. Though tbf I rarely if ever really find guys attractive and I accord lots of importance to character.

I love his voice and his look actually. Not much into his personality.

This is pronbably the best thing to happen to romances in the game. It's actually now one of my favourite features of the game, assuming it's done right. It's just so real, being able to flirt with someone and have them go "Ah, thanks. But... No." That's what i loved about Aveline's character, being able to flirt with her and get nowhere.
Now, as long as we can do this to every companion, i'll be one happy chappy ![]()

Aw, that's cute. I love the Inquisitor's hopeful look and nervous chuckle--it adds character ![]()
Especially since all previous Bioware protagonists have been about as subtle as a sledgehammer when they flirted.

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESdies*
That just made my entire frickin' day. Cullen's FACE! His FACE! Fangirling all over the place here, he is so adorable I don't know if I'll be able to resist! (Sorry, Solas, but you'll have to be ridiculously awesome to compete with that!)
I think Cullen might even be bicurious. He's seriously so adorable. My dwarf will SO flirt with him even though she doesn't meet the requirements of being able to believably roleplay a Circle mage (person who thought of that and cheered me up about not being able to romance him with my dwarf, I still love you SO much.)
This thread gives me the gigglesquees so much. I love this. I hope there is an epic amount of flirtation, not just with companions, but with NPCs.
I MUST FLIRT WITH ALL OF THEDAS!

I think it had more to do with Aveline being unable to take hints, considering she's a serious person (to a fault). When she does finally get the hint...well, you have to break it off because she already found someone else.

I mean... Just because Bull doesn't match your personal tastes doesn't mean he doesn't match your stereotype for macho masculinity.
True, but the Iron Bull archetype (the big hulking guy) is different from the boy next door cute-sy awkward archetype (again, embodied perfectly by Alistair, Sebastian, Cullen, and Kaidan). Alistair and Sebastian are virgins. Cullen runs away when confronted by a girl who has a crush on him. Kaidan is...Kaidan is just really cute. This is the type of archetype that has never been romanceable by a male PC.
Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed a Zevran romance. I enjoyed a Fenris romance. I enjoyed an Anders romance. But if both Zev and Alistair were available? I would go for Alistair. If Sebastian were available? Then, screw Fenris and Anders, they can go bicker behind the chantry for all I care. Now all I can do in this game is pine over Cullen until I'll be forced to settle for the one HUMAN homosexual romance. Even Alenko, you had to wait til the third game for him to come out.
I just don't think it's fair that we get to miss out on the boy next door romances
