I agree, we must have a storage chest. Preferably in Skyhold as it is our base of operations.
PLEASE GIVE US SOME SORT OF SKYHOLD STORAGE

Yeah, I would have expected some sort of elaborate treasury, with a gold pile and weapon display racks.
To not even have a freaking box or two is absurd.

Please please add this as all a limit does is also limit player choice. I personally like keeping unique weapons that only 1 exist of to remember my past achievements and battles like a trophy collection. It seems odd that with this transition to a more open world game we are limited on how much we can store or keep in a world that probably has 5 times more items to collect than the previous games.
Normally I wouldn't be bothered but due to Frosbite not being mod friendly and Denova stopping Cheat Engine from modifying the game other than Bioware patching it in I don't think we can do it ourselves on PC (I'm guessing as they edit through the executable which Denova protects).
Also console players really would need this also.
Remember we are RPG players and we have a hoarding obsession built up from many previous games and especially from games with crafting ![]()
P.S I just sent a PM to Alan Schumacher asking whether he could deliver our concerns to the department that could potentially deal with it so hopefully we will possibly get an answer in the future about having a storage box though unless it is in the day one patch (if there is one) it might take a little while as most of the team are probably having a well deserved break after putting in an insane amount of hours near the end of development
Anyway fingers crossed ![]()

Yeah I am really amazed that something so useful was overlooked or just not included for some reason. I would give up mounts to have a Storage chest.
Actually I would give up many things to have it, including awkward "love" scenes. Ain't no inquisitor got no time for dat.

I still can't get over what a stupid decision this is. It's just downright unacceptable.

I would like some more storage space. Do I need it? no, but I would really like it.

Are we even sure that their is no storage, chests or otherwise? That sounds very unlikely TBO. I can't believe that BW would not do this. Could any console folks confirm this?

I agree with everyone else. There needs to be some way to store stuff. I don't like throwing away/selling everything, and it's not realistic either. ![]()

Yes seriously....just take the code for the chest in DA2, tweak it for frostbite and add it into the day1 patch, shouldn't take more that 4-5 hours O.o

Especially since there won't be any mods for a really long time, if ever, very unfortunately, so no fan can create storage like was done in DAO, I really hope they can sneak some sort of storage into the game somewhere, whether it;s in Skyhold or somewhere else. Since there are different ways to play, we're bound to find great weapons and armor that we'd need for the opposite of what we tried first, so naturally, we'd be loathe to sell or disassemble them, only without somewhere to keep it all, they're hindering their own work in letting us reallocate our points to try the other attributes that they spent so much time in making possible in the first place. There could even be a limit on the storage space of like 50 or 100 items, if absolutely necessary, if it helped in allowing us to have storage at all. After all, Skyhold is a huge castle. You can't possibly tell me there isn't room for a simple chest when I've heard and read reviews that state the reviewer got lost in Skyhold because it was so big. As you can tell, this is something I would truly appreciate having.

Dammit Bioware! You made me get rid of my Cheese Wheel of Destiny
Even though I didnt use it anymore, I still wanted to keep it. And many other awesome items. But noooooooooo. No storage for you.

In Skyhold, I found what looked like an Armory room (completely un-used), somewhere below ground level, if I remember correctly.
What I would LOVE is a set of containers, all dedicated to specific things like armor, weapons, crafting materials, upgrades, etc etc. That would be great!
