Man, he looks younger with his new look. I liked him with his long hair.. bummer! He's still a silver fox though.. err.. silver-ing fox? He's alive in all my playthroughs too - pretty much all except for one where I kept Alistair just to see what he would be like in the third game. Alistair is one of my least favorite characters and had very little personality (in my opinion), whereas Loghain is one of my favorite and had plenty of personality. In the end he could admit to his mistakes, even if there was a very human if misguided belief behind them, which he too acknowledged - that made him all the better in my eyes.

 

Annoyed that he's dying though. I mean, I didn't expect him to last forever but it would have been nice for him and my warden to fight together again.

I had hoped it might mean THIS, but kept myself in check, since he's voiced NPCs and stuff before, too.

I can't stand betrayers and oath breakers in any playthrough. Lohgain was that so... dead all playthroughs. Though for those of you who can stand him or gave him a chance... its good to see your choices mattered.

He was dead in my playthrough as well but it's good to see him, though he really looks somehow younger here. And his hair is much shorter now. It's a nice surprise, as I expected for Loghain to be totally absent, even if he was still alive. I wonder if Alistair replaces his role there if he stayed with Wardens and didn't become the king.

Well, he's been living in Orlais for over 10 years so I'm not sure he still hates them as much as before.

The corruption mentioned in the OP might refer to the corruption taking place in the organization, the reason for warden defections.  It doesn't necessarily mean his calling is imminent.  He certainly doesn't look bad in the screenie.  I really like the new look.  Loghain will show up in my game at some point, but I've other world states I want to try out first.

Loghain

is back in Inquisition. He is in Grey Warden and he is worried of corruption in the Grey Warden ranks. Anyone excited about this? For me, he is deader than dead but hey, I know some people kept him alive.

Seems very likely to me. And you probably get Stroud if neither Alistair or Loghain are active Wardens. Or at least I'm setting up my first three Keep world states under that assumption, anyway.

Eh it looks to me its all from the lighting. You can see that in Hawke's beard as well.
