12 years after his joining

 

Yeah, it's thirty years after the Joining when the Calling typically happens, so he's got at least 18 years left in him?

I'm glad he's back. He always lives in each of my playthroughs (I think I have around a dozen or so), so this news definitely pleases me. If I can't have Zevran, this guy's the next best thing. Also, from that pic, he looks damned good! Attractive, even. I still miss his hair braids, though, but I'll get over it.

It's likely he'll just replace Alistair in whatever role he has, so I imagine he will.

I doubt the either one's role as Warden will be very big, though.

In any event, Loghain's my single favorite Dragon Age character, hands down. Seeing him back is the best news I've heard for DAI since playable qunari.

That would be REALLY hard to do if you recruited Loghain and were a female Warden.

 

He, uh, he kinda had to take one for the team there.

Not the biggest fan of Loghain but he's alive in my playthrough and he has gotten better looking, the last 10 years have been kind to him   And that's also a flattering angle for Frostbite 3 Hawke as well aha.

You will have to choose between Hawke and Loghain/Alistair/Stroud (either one of these Wardens) at some point in the game. It is like Virmire all over again

I really liked his character in Origins. So happy that he's back and that he looks gorgeous and still young and handsome (yep, I've always thought he was a cutie!)
Plus, in my game Alistair is dead, so I can avoid looking at his new *ugly* model

I'm having a hard time convincing myself letting this handsome snake of a man live. Any ideas?

He seems like a pretty bad general if he sacrifices a whole bunch of troops and their commander for selfish reasons

Not to mention vilifying the Warden's despite it being a DOCUMENTED FACT that only Warden's can end a blight

How in the world did he survived for a decade?  I thought that he underwent Joining so late in his life that his life expectancy was 2-3 years tops?  Damn that old man is tough
