Stop Logging Me Out, or don't change the page when you do!

Why must I be automatically logged out of Dragon Age: The Last Court?

Seriously, I have missed the ending to the following major events

-Dismissing my schenscal as my counselor in favor of the Smiling Guildmistress

-The Abbess' Road

-Rescuing the Bard

-The Closed Chantry

(won't say more specifics than that because spoilers)

BECAUSE YOU GUYS KEEP LOGGING ME OUT ONLY AFTER I HIT THE DECIDE TO DO SOMETHING BUTTON AND NOT BEFORE

I can't even tell if I'm logged in or not 'for reals' when I reload the freaking page.

If you're going to insist on doing this, then please, for the love of god, send me back to EXACTLY the same page I was forcibly logged out of, not to the next decision page, because it in a game where the ENTIRE draw is the story, missing the conclusion of major plot threads is the biggest turn off possible. I already restarted the game ONCE because of this nonsense, can you please stop doing it to me?

Alternatively, provide a history page or something so I can go back through all my previous actions or stories or SOMETHING?

Please, I love this game to bits but this is such a major turn off to the point where I feel like I might as well just quit if it's going to keep happening.

edit: I should mention the last 3 are particularly vexing, because I failed the first one (and I'd atleast like to get a good story out of not nailing that fade-born jerk to the wall), the 2nd one gives you reasons behind said jerk, and the third one is such a monumental risk that I'd really like to know more about what happens when I welcome someone like that into my home (I'm sorry if that was too spoiler-rific, but anybody who has actually done those decisions should know what I'm talking about. If they could send me copy-pasta of it if they have it, I'd super appreciate it)

edit2: I'm on the latest version of Firefox on a year old Macbook Pro btw.

It is pretty annoying.. Luckily, I haven't missed any ending of the quests like this. I just wish there is a log-out/in system so we can refresh the game without the fear of being forced log out.

even if it just had a simple check when a button is pressed. "Is the person over time for activity and thus must be logged out? If Yes, then do not advance the plot"

Likewise. I missed the reunion with my Bard because of this stupid glitch.

Same happened to me, it's extremely frustrating and really makes you want to stop playing. If someone choses the behemoth market day card, please send me a backlog of what happens, I'll be forever grateful.

And it's REALLY annoying because this is a microtransaction game, meaning some folks are missing out on content they've paid for in more than time.

Missed one storyline conclusion, one pivotal moment and one or two other unique pages. Really, really annoying, to put it mildly.
Spoiler

If anyone has screenshots of those, it'd be highly appreciated, as since it's one of those browser games where you get only one save file, I don't see myself ever replaying it, unless I create a secondary Origin account sometime.
Or they could just add a proper codex to the game.

Yep - I just posted that I missed out on what happens when you accept the Lord of Alyons quest from Market Day . If anyone has a SC or can describe what it does/what happens, I'd really appreciate it.  I also missed out on what happens when *SPOILER ALERT FOR HORNED KNIGHT QUEST* you allow your Bard to remain with the Horned Knight.*END SPOILER*

I would really, really love for someone to fill me in on what the text said.  It is really unacceptable that you can miss out on the few bits of unique lore in this game that is entirely about giving you more DA-related lore.  I'm really not playing it so I can keep getting clues from the Kindly Knight over and over and over again...

I've done some playing around in the last two days, and I've noticed that when I continue my Last Court progress(after 3+ hours of inactivity) by going to the page via the Keep, I'm never forcibly logged out during my session.  If I continue my Last Court progress(after 3+ hours of inactivity) by going to the page via a bookmark, or not closing the tab, it's a 50-50 prospect of being forcibly logged out within 3 clicks...

I don't know if that'll help anyone... But it might.

I think the random timeout is linked to the Keep where sometimes when you're using it you'll also get timed out and pushed back to the sign in area. It's a bug on both ends and likely they're still looking into it.

It seems to be a cookie problem. As far as I can tell, you can forcibly log out by closing your web browser. Opening up The Last Court should then allow you to log back in without fear of being randomly kicked out. I do that whenever I'm about to play it. (I play the game in bursts, since I prefer to have a bunch of actions available at a time.)

Though why in the world it allows you to perform a few actions before realising you ought to be logged out, I don't know...

This bugs the crap out of me too, but was particularly devastating when I missed the conclusion of rescuing my Bard (after having already failed once and chasing him through the woods again, at that - if anyone has a screenshot/copypasted text, I'd love to see it). I wish there was some sort of log that you could go back and look at in case you missed something.

And like OP said, why am I allowed to make a decision that's saved before I'm logged out? Shouldn't it be the other way around, where I'm prevented from making a decision until I log back in? Gah, so annoying.  ._.

Yeah, I just missed what happened when I finished a big storyline because it logged me out right when I hit the page. :?

Not the first time either...

I don't know if this is the part of the end of the Bard rescue you missed, but it's the only screenshot I took.  I've become a nervous screentaker with this game, though it doesn't really help since the autologouts typically happen as soon as the page loads.

Mine was actually different since I hadn't yet made the Bard my lover - still, thanks for sharing the screenshot. Something to look forward for next playthrough :D

Same thing. Really annoying.

Missed the endings of Dowager's Illness and Errant Siblings already. Not very enthusiastic to proceed any further, since it may happen again and again and again.

Maybe, just add that last story page on the Story sidebar? Since there's no way for people to go back to those stories aside from starting over, so even if you fix the issue, it will be of little help for those who already missed some stories.

Now it has only the name of those quests, maybe, turn them into links with that page you show on the outcome? So if you are logged out, you at least do not miss the story! There's literally no other reason to play it, and you still deny story endings?

I think getting logged out as I was changing accomplices caused a bug where I can have two of them at the same time now.

Although I just noticed now that I don't have the bonus from the first one anymore, just her portrait.

Hey all, I know this is a really annoying bug. It's happened to me a few times too :(

Rest assured, we know about it and are working on fixing it. We'll update you all when that happens!

I was curious about this, too. It may be intentional, since there's no real violation of trust in having 2 accomplices. The Well-Read Pig Farmer no longer gives me a bonus, but I can still use her favors.

This just happened to me, and I payed a fair bit of money for Dawn because I wanted to finish while EA Access was ongoing. Will any partial refunds be given? It's happened before, but this time it happened during the Divine's visit so it's important content that I haven't seen and of course want to.

Does anyone have a screen of the conclusion to the Tangle Web plot?

Because, well, logout struck.
