I'd like to see you call Iron Bull weak to his face

How can you expect anyone to 'confirm' something like that when practically 95% of people except for reviewrs haven't played the game yet...
My suggestion is wait and see it for yourself. Quailty of 'story' is entirely subjective anyway.

I'm sure the reviewer's definition of a "weak romance" is different than your own. It may just be a matter of opinion. Like everyone else, I'd like to see the link first before making a judgement call. If they are a quality game reviewer, he or she will possibly give a reason as to why they felt this way.

Bioware doesn't do weak romances, it's someone's opinion likely of only one romance

I agree with what everyone else seems to be saying. It will only be our own opinion that matters on how we view the game. I disagree with reviewers all the time about games that I am passionate about.
Personally, I am trying to exercise my willpower and stay away from reviews until I can complete a playthrough for myself. I am happy to watch and read any official news from BioWare (except for the ones they admit contain spoilers), and any non-spoliery previews (they tend to focus on the game features and not the story because of their limited time with the game). ![]()
Another way to think of it is through who is making the game and if you enjoyed their past work. That's usually a fair indication of the work we'll get from them. I will be shocked if this game is not awesome; they've put a ton of time into it and everything I have seen looks great.

Eh. I wasn't a big fan of the Bull clip, but I really loved to sentiment from Cassandra in the screenshot of hers, both in the line and her facial expression.

Weak would be something like romance in Skyrim. I'm pretty sure we get better romances than that in DAI.

You could get married and have kids. Your spouse gave you money and food and maybe traveled with you sometimes. Skyrim romances weren't very deep.

Is it bad that I didn't even play that game long enough to realize that there were romances? The only reason I found out was from people mentioning them on this forum.

Skyrim 'romance' = sudden propose + wedding + move in together
Done!
P.S. You can only adopt children

Was there any romance in Skyrim? I must have missed it.
It was when you married your human backpack.

Just try to imagine coming to a final judgment on the romance options available in either of the previous Dragon Age games or the Mass Effect trilogy with only several hours to progress, and without cheating your way to your companions' hearts in Origins via Feastday shenanigans.

Well people always assume it's a weak romance, because there is no graphic hard-sex shown.
Maybe that idiot reviewer was expecting porn scenes.

I think I know the review you're talking about. I'm pretty sure the reviewer tried to romance Iron Bull and it wasn't to their liking. Regardless, they obviously didn't romance everyone, so calling all the romances weak is not fair.

Skyrim - Help someone then marry with them(by the way worst wedding ever)...they move in your house then just start cooking while you are on adventures and by the way you are in chastity marriage as well.
So yeah if you wish to see how real weak romance looks like Skyrim is then best example
