@3Pacalypse No I don't, and if you'd like someone to learn something, you might want to take a more accommodating tone.

In the bottom right corner of the post you want to quote. Also, there's multi-quote if you want to respond to several posts.

If you wanted to break one quote down, line by line for example, then you could use [ quote ] text [ /quote ] (close brackets)

Today it's Far Cry 4 and it's abysmal art style.

All gone into mediocrity.

See for yourself.

Absolutely dreadful. It almost looks like a TV running in torch mode.

Compare it to ARMA3, which should be the gold standard...

Mediocrity is a bit generous for Unity, but otherwise yes. This is the year of mediocrity.

Hmm, the only thing I really noticed was the textures for the ground in FC4 looked flat and 2D. But, I don't have a gaming PC so it's hard for me too comment on the difference between the two.

First pic looks like a game from 2010. The second looks like Legend of Gimrock II with guns. The difference is LoG II has no claim of high graphics.

Sorry I'm not impressed.

Never mind the graphics. Pay attention to the colors and the contrast of the two pictures. Which one looks more real to you? I won't ask which one looks better to you because most people prefer the picture that has more color, darker shadows, a lot of edge enhancement, and so on.

EDIT: This is what torch mode looks like and it's how most console gamers play their games.

Spoiler

Compare it to the original image.

I don't get it, why the fedora dislike? Just curious, is it a fashion trend?

I think it's just more saturation. But saturation often makes everything more awesome if it's not overdone.

In a manner of speaking. It's become somewhat of a fad among the internet atheist crowd, and other people are sporting them as well for some reason.

With torch mode it's always overdone. FC4 doesn't look nearly as bad as torch mode, but the colors and contrast are definitely overdone. I'm sure it's on purpose, but I think it looks really bad compared to FC2 and the original Crysis on PC.

First world problems and hyperbolic rhetoric of the same.

Or, even worse than hyperbole, an utter lack of perspective and awareness that leads people to genuinely think that their social grievance or systemic inconvenience is equivalent to or even more terrible/important than the frequent corresponding status quo in non-Western societies.

And the vast majority of people who wear a fedora cannot pull off the look. Fedoras are supposed to be part of a sharp and classy ensemble, but neckbeards think the fedora itself is the sharpness and class. Like they can wear cargo pants and a trenchcoat and look generally unkempt and greasy; or wear an ill-fitting suit but the fedora will magically pull it all together.

What happened to Philae probe scientist Matt Taylor. A monumental accomplishment for the ESA and science in general gets muddied because some dumbasses don't like the fact that he was wearing a shirt with scantly clad women on it given to him by his girlfriend.

Such a dumb situation. ffs do feminists have nothing better to do than worry about a shirt?

His weakness annoyed me though. I can understand being pressured to apologize, but he actually cried while doing it.

What pisses me off is that the landing has been overshadowed by how SJW feel about the shirt. This is a ****** great achievement for science.
