The Keep is taking my choices away.

I was very happy when I first heard about 'The Keep'. Having experience with ME I was sure to keep my saved games from DO and DA2; and then of course I understand why DA:I cannot import them, yet the saved feature or Origins, coupled with 'The Keep' assured me that my choices would be reflected in Inquisition.

Or so I thought.

Because my Tapestry is boned.

There are choices that I KNOW I did not make, and missing choices I KNOW I made. Companions romanced I wouldn't touch if someone paid me while Companions unromanced who I was and am quite fond of. And so on. Using the The Tapestry a lot of those choices are unavailble to me. Oh, I can see the options but my choices are not reflected, and where I CAN make a choice and lock it, the tapestry STILL does now show it.

I read in the Tutorial something aboug 'change mode' and it was rather confusing as I"m unsure if it is 'coming soon' (How soon? Inquistion is right around the corner!) or if it's available now. I'm fairly sure that something is wrong here and willing to entertain the notions that it's what I'm doing...or failing to do...or something.

And I'm here looking for suggestions on fixing it.

Essentiall all I want is a list of the choices per area and assurance that after I MAKE the choices they've stuck.

The Keep does not import your saves, you have to make all the choices yourself. To do that just click on the sections, and then on the individual tiles. Then you can go to the option you want and select 'Approve this choice'.

That's my point: It's not. Not every option is giving me the 'approve this choice' Or if it is I'm not seeing it.

Secondly, The Tapestry is not changing to reflect the choices I CAN make (Which is not many)

That sounds like a bug. Is your feedback working?

I've submitted feedback, if that's what you mean- if you mean are my choices being reflected, then no.

Then what do you have at the bottom of the screen instead ? Can you see the lock option ? Or nothing ?

What browser are you using? It sounds like it might be a display bug of some kind. Using the latest version of Chrome is recommended. (I've had some success with Firefox, but Opera on my mobile doesn't play well with the Keep at all.)

Aha!

Took a few hours, but I GOT it.

Apparently one of my security programs was keeping a teensy, tiny part of the The Keep from running, despite assuring me and having been set to do no such thing. Once I tracked that down the 'Make Choice' suddenly magically appeared everywhere.

If you're using noscript, you might have to unblock something I think was called 'finalfont' or something.

Thank you for your time.

Thanks Mad-Hamlet.  I'll add that to our internal trouble-shooting list.

Adblock can also have similar behaviour for the beta feedback button, but this seems a bit different.

It would seem that the default first question we need to ask in threads like these is "Do you have adblock and noscript disabled?"

Final Update:

I recreated the events. According to what I found despite granting dragonagekeep.com permissions, Noscript keeps one object blocked. It's called

FONTS@https://fast.fonts.net. This must be unblocked manually. To do so right click the the Noscript icon, look for 'blocked objects' and give it permission.

That should do it.
This is my final post in the thread.
Thanks again everyone.
