I would say "I don't click on anything that says spoiler" but that's to hard for me. But once it gets to the 18th I will not be on the bioware forums until I get my copy of DAI. I might go on the multiplayer part of the forums though, since it seems there won't be to much to worry about over there (I hope). But I think it would easier for me to not use blood magic then staying away from spoilers.

I had good training as a kid. My parents' strategy with the Christmas presents was to tell my sister and I both when they had started shopping and exactly where they were hiding the presents. Then, it was our choice as to whether or not we wanted to spoil Christmas morning, but they refused to play "hide the presents" with us. Even if we looked, we weren't going to get our gifts early, so I only wound up spoiling part of my Christmas once and by accident. After that, I decided it wasn't worth it. It was better not to know and find out on Christmas morning.
Now, as far as this game and others like it goes, I do pick and choose my spoilers. I figure some things aren't going to kill me to see, so I will watch a few selected spoilers like the Iron Bull romance one because I figure I'm not going to romance Bull, at least not until I've had a few play throughs. And I've watched the Intro Stream, but mainly, I just pick and choose my threads and read lightly these days.

I'm not. I don't care. Spoilers don't change anything.

Read the topic title and thought it would be hilarious if the first line in this thread was a giant plot giveaway written in big bold letters followed up by maniacal laughter.

Hiding from reviews and most things under the spoiler tag.
However, if everyone on the forums is like "hahah, that thing is certainly hilarious" and I'm like "What thing?" I just learned I will break.
Yeah, I watched the Iron Bull romance video. ..So I'm only mostly pure of heart and intentions.
In my defense, that thing was hilarious. And romances aren't usually my jam, so I'm mostly hiding from character and story arcs. My husband will probably spoil Iron Bull's romance by doing that first, while my current plans for first playthrough include nomance. I'm about 86% sure. He may surprise me. Or one of the companions might seduce the bajeesus out of my inquisitor.
WHICH IS WHY I DON'T WANT TOO MANY SPOILERS. Surprise makes it special! ...Okay, and occasionally horrifying. Usually in a good way. Thanks a lot, Mass Effect 2 suicide mission and sending someone through the ducts as a surprise assault not ACTUALLY being about sneaking through the ducts. Which is what you meet Thane doing. And instead about hacking. Which Thane does not do.

My boyfriend makes me close the Browser whenever I bring up the Bioware forums. Probably because I keep whining about subtle spoilers in various topic titles.
He's busy at the moment. I so shouldn't be here.

I'm not. If I could eliminate one prejudice or phobia in this world, it would be spoilerphobia. Yes, others are actually more harmful to real people, but I am pretty self-absorbed, and spoilerphobia is my nemesis, so, yeah, that'd be it. If a genie gave me three wishes, one of them would be that people would stop expressing over-the-top concern about spoiler-exposure, especially about media about which they're actively seeking information.
Spoilers are nothing to fear! Feast upon this wondrous bounty!

Simple, I am not avoiding spoilers at all. I actually like spoilers. Sometimes I even went looking for them.
I usually feel the same way about most of the things, but I'm avoiding Inquisition spoilers as much as I can. My pc is too old to run the game and I can't afford to buy a new one or upgrade it so I won't be playing the game anytime soon.
I haven't watched a single video, read a single article on DA: I since Friday. Trying to stay away from most topics in Inquisition board here, got Tumblr Savior and blocked any DA: I related tags I could think of and unfollowed people who don't tag their posts, and I asked my friends who are going to play the game not to tell me anything at all. So yeah, I'm being very careful. ![]()
