I retrieved my Xbox One from layaway earlier this week, upgrading my 360 and then booted the thing up. Curiously the process left me with a new gamertag, despite my having verified my gold account through my recognized primary email?

 

Now, in my panic I contacted Microsoft and tried to fix this issue, ultimately getting my original gamertag restored to me, but under my alternate email address (which was the one that I had first set up my Xbox Live Gold account with). Just for the record I had changed my email address with them earlier in the year, after registering with the Keep.

 

My question is, does the fact that my current Origin account and Keep access (both registered under my primary email) negate my world state from being recognized by my Xbox One gamertag (if it is currently set up with a different email)? Does something like that have any impact or matter at all?

I don't think the gamertag is important, I played DA1 and DA2 on the 360 and now own a PS4 and Origin already found me through FIFA 15. As long as you use the same email you should be fine.

My primary email is how I access these forums, my Origin account, and the Keep. My gamertag notwithstanding, and your comment is encouraging, but my Xbox One/Live account is on an entirely different email. I'm hoping that doesn't matter, and doesn't interfere with my world states from transitioning into my Inquisition game.
