I've seen a few things about the War Room seeming to be just a click and text thing, more like ME3 etc.

However, this looks. to me, like the one thing that will make it feel like a war, and more. They also say it stops you going too far ahead of yourself, you need power through other actions, you can open up whole new areas, and, even then, you can choose three options for each little case.

What I remember seeing was the explanation that the war room had over three hundred incidents, that you would not get all of them in any one game, some would be for one race, some would be there or not depending on the Keep story you have saved, and more. That means that is a good reason to try things different;y, sending different people, trying races out and altering the Keep.

I'm not sure I wouldn't be quite obsessive about this side, doing everything I could; it also means you go to SKyhold more maybe, and that you will talk to more people about more stuff when you go there to update the war room activities. With getting some mega-crafty stuff through the war room and all the rest, it seems more than a text message telling you the result. Even if it's like that, I'll still majorly look forwards to it. A lot of any successful game is immersion, and this seems better that what people imagine...I see it as the final details needed to make this game fully immersive, and it gives you a meaningful break from beating people up occasionally. I did a lot of that side in Black Flag (with the fleet), and enjoyed it despite being a bit pants in reality.

If you think you've completed an area and then have a war room thing where you can raise a bridge or naughtily drain a lake, then it'd be pretty good, I think. Perhaps better than other people think. 300 'quests'? That's amazing to me. Far more than the Last Court, and people are enjoying that.

Edit: Did I mess up making this here? I always do something numpty-like.....

well, Black Flag was nothing if not immersive. Probably my favorite in the series.

As for the War Table, definitely. The thing is, every major organization comes with paperwork
