This is basically how I would tend to go with a Bastion Adept taking AR training.

I usually am fairly completionist, so I could hit 57 or so by the end, but really by the 40's the character is about as powerful as they are going to get regardless of class.

Is this the dialogue you are referring to? If so, then you get when doing Therum last, after Noveria, Feros, and Virmire.

If any of U have other vids with original conversations due to specific/original choices, i wld gladly watch them :)

Thx again cap. Any reason not to finish all citadel buisiness asap ? For example SHaira blanket was quickly usefull with some protean artifact early in game. I ll add this to your thread

@ Alfonsedode, Liara's powers are bugged. If you put points in every biotic power, her overload will not show up on the HUD/Power Wheel.
The only way to make her use overload is to set the game on active usage of powers (which is rarely ends up useful). If you don't need overload on her, don't put points in it. Kaidan, Garrus and Tali already have it. But if you do, you'll have to 'sacrifice' one biotic power. Most players skip Stasis because it makes target invulnerable. I usually skip Lift or Singularity because these powers seem quite the same to me.

Tx @BloodyMares , i read the other thread yesterday. Stupid bug. i used the console to get my points back :)

As i m levelling near 50, i migth even still put point in both for decryption purpose. Oh, wait, electronic has nothing to do with decryption ... and there are not so many object needing electronic skills. Ok i guess i ll max her barrier instead.

On the side missions, the downed probes usually require Electronics.  The locked crates are more likely to be Decryption IIRC.

I just finished my playthrough in 37 hours, which i think was my more completionist as i went for every single challenge, but resisted the urge to keep collecting everything after the assignments were done :).

I killed most stuff outside the mako and only reached level 55 so i wonder how some guys reach level 60 :D. I should have kill more thresher maw on foot and all of them ? Take the fighting options everywhere ?

No points anyway to reach above 50.

Still a good and fun game, a bit too easy after level 30 for an adept. Maybe fluidity is the best thing about ME1 ?

the only thing i miss now is using the snipe rifle. I just tried quicly on an old save. Seems fun, but is it usable as unique weapon for a full run ?

I also wld like to try a no pause run, to keep the game more fluid, but squad command would have to be optimized !

I guess i ll wait for me4 to restart a full ME run.

Level 60 is only possible in a New Game +.
Unless, of course, you want to cheat. The easiest way to do that is altering the Mako's experience modifier.

Yeah basically it is similar with most of the classes.  Once you start getting better gear from drops and some more abilities leveled, the game starts to get a bit easier.

The only class I have done basically sniper only was the Infiltrator.  This is because you get the bonus to sniper heat which lets you fire the higher tier rifles near indefinitely with the right setup.  And since snipers have high base force, they are practically as good as shotguns for Thorian creepers and husks.  Just have to get used to the scope.

The only way I have found to do anything like a no pause run is to set squad powers to automatic since there isn't a way to order them to use powers without the "Command HUD."  It was nice that the guys who did the PC port came up with the quick slots, but they just didn't think that we might want to map squad powers there.  And then there is the issue that there are a zillion powers in this game.

It's a huge limitation for a "no pause" sort of run, especially early game, or for a couple missions (Besieged Base mainly).  You have to basically set squad power use to auto, which is cooldown inefficient.

Pause itself was really supposed to be a central feature of the combat system so it isn't surprising that it is hard to get around it.

ok, I forgot that level 55 to 60 was of the same exp point order as 0 to 55.

What s your gain on me2 for those last 5 levels ?

Yeah, too bad, cause simplicity and fluidity are the main thing with me1, imo.
