Not really adequate if you spoil a part of the story.

Did I not put spoiler tags in the title?
Even your title could be viewed as a spoiler, to be honest. I'd keep the title vague like: "Leliana image spoiler" so that people don't have to read the content. If I were avoiding spoilers, which I'm not, it would annoy me to see that title.

But yeah given her new look would your Inquisitor still romance her? If she looked like that in Origins would your Warden have still romanced her?
hell yes
hell yes indeeed

It is real, I think; I believe I saw it in a review or trailer or something, well animated and she was talking to the Inquisitor about something.

It would be if you actually heeded the spoiler, it is not my fault that you chose to ignore the warning.

The title could be seen as a spoiler. I would change that. If people still click, then I agree, it's on them. But I wouldn't want to know that information if I were avoiding spoilers.

This better be curable or maybe the damage is only in the fade.
I can't imagine going the whole game after this mission with your spy master and professional bard looking like that without people gossiping and talking behind her back every time they meet her.

Wait so how did this happen to her?
I remember back in the redcliff castle video that she still looked ok.

Honestly all people that wish to avoid spoilers I really really but really think that reading forums or being on youtube is bad for staying spoiler-free.

How so? You can twist the words in the title any way you want but without having clicked on the thread you would have no idea what the words are referring to, could be leliana's new outfit, her redesign that everyone has already seen for Inquisition. I bet by your logic even a title as innocent as "what do you think of the Inquisitor's sword?" could be viewed as a spoiler and knowing the moderators on this site they would probably judge it as being homophobic as well.

Back then game was still just in beta and was being worked on...there have been mentions of that Leliana will get disfigured but I always was thinking that she will get few scars or at worst lose one eye...this was...simply not what I had in mind when they said "disfigured" ![]()

Any scars I have ever seen after a serious injury were pink/red and raised and inflamed. That could be Leliana's face if the torture happened 15 years ago.
Also, it makes the banter in Redcliffe after you get her even more amusing (read: bad.). "Wow, you're tough!" So let me just cut you down here and we'll get on our merry way.... You'd expect gasps of horror from your companions.
The only way it makes sense is if the stuff in Redcliffe doesn't happen in the real world but in some kind of dream/fade world.

It would appear that even after her disfigurement she is still the best looking female companion and advisor.
Are you on crack??

Well i've heard some info that if leliana is captured players can avoid having her face such fate, if they chosen to send her, if the player performs certain actions. A certain Action will also prevent Leliana from being captured if players sent her in as well. However, the developers did not mention what these special actions are nor how to accomplish them.
I'm guessing Slog did not discover these special actions or the special action required for her to avoid this fate was to reach her under a certain amount of time so he took too long to reach leliana after she was captured which resulted in this fate.

That's kind of a weird (as in, badly done) disfigurement. It's more of a pastiche of old age makeup plus zombie makeup.

If I had to go with why is she disfigured like this then my guess would be...
