I'm not nearly as attached to the inquisitor as I was to Shep, anyway(who didn't actually have to die).
Although one way or another, the pattern suggests that we'll be playing a new character in the next Dragon Age game.

They won't. You really think Bioware wants to hear us with fan rage for another two years?

Probably not. The backlash was huge last time so I don't think they're willing to pull that off again.

That's why I'm flipping to the ending as soon as I buy the guide. At least I won't get attached to my Inquisitor that way.

Considering that we can play after the main story is finished? No, I'm not worried.
Exactly. Wasting all the effort and things your character achieved, however...

Only way our Inq will die is if you obtain the bad ending.
Other than that he or she will live and from there you can complete unfinished side tasks and secrets or simply prepare for the future DLC Storylines.

That doesn't mean we're playing "post-end". We're probably going back before the last main mission like they did for ME3.

From what I've been told, instead of choosing rainbow colors to end the galaxy as we know it, what we find is the Inquisitor was just having a bad nightmare the entire game and wakes up next to Hawke in bed. No spoilers.

You can usually tell a thread is dumb when the headline begins with "so ..."

I was expecting a different elephant. Actually I wouldn't consider this an elephant at all, it is nonsensical. As others have said you can continue to play after concluding the main story, basically meaning that there are endings we can take that don't kill us.

Y'know, I'm just gonna say it.
I didn't find ME3's ending that bad.

Personally I think that is a little sad that Bioware should be afraid to have bad things happen to the Main character because of the backlash they will receive if they don't give their fans a Mary Sue happy ending.
