What exactly does the recommended specs allow? High or Ultra?

 

Can my system run Ultra?

Recommended means high with smooth performance. Ultra generally requires even better hardware if you want to maintain quality performance. Your graphics card is a bit dated, but you should be able to play DAI on ultra settings. I don't know if you'll get entirely smooth performance, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Thank you, I kind of felt my graphics card was getting a bit dated. I can play shadows of mordor and alien isolation on ultra with no loss of frame rate, but it seems DAI will be a different monster altogether.
