My deepest apologies if this has been asked already, I've searched around and haven't found anything on it yet, but how will the Keep and Inquisition itself handle modded Hawkes? I'm not too well versed on mods and how they work but my friend and I have Hawkes from the pc DAII and we were wondering if they would transfer over alright? Sure, they appear in the Keep and we can select them as our hero but when they appear in the Inquisition game itself, will everything work out ok? Or would it be better to use the default Hawkes or recreate them using the basic character customization?

Again, sorry for all this.

You customize hawke in game so no the mods would not appear

The Hawke that gets 'imported' into the Keep is just her name and picture.  You'll apparently be able to recreate her in CC at some point (my apologies if my information is out of date, I'm staying away from a lot of DAI news at the moment).  It does mean that when you recreate them you wont be able to use anything from their modded apperance, but DAI CC looks way better than DA2's anyway.

The Keep just imports a jpeg of your old characters' portraits for you to just...have there. It does not transfer to DAI. You recreate your Hawke's appearance in game.

As the others mentioned, the game supposedly offers an opportunity to recreate an approximation of your custom Hawkes, at least.

For flavour, you can import a portrait sporting whichever character creation-mod you used following this method, which I posted in the Keep's feedback-forum:

For what it's worth, for me it was enough to move the core-folder out of Documents/Dragon Age 2/Bioware/packages to desktop aside from leaving -enabledeveloperconsole out of DA:O's shortcut properties to sync my Warden. You can move that folder back in after that for continued play.

(Minor thing to note: should you have any CC-mods in Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age 2/packages/override, it appears you can leave those in place as well. Just need to know which they are, those I used at least were packed into their own folders. Also goes for chargenmorphcfg.xml found in the same place, either in its own folder or in override itself should you have merged that)

There is a CC in-game for hawke as was confirmed ages ago. Which people ignored and now are "Suprised and Happy" to learn that you can customise Hawke

Apart form what has been said I remember some devs telling that mods will not carry over (not just appearance, people wondered if they could import their modded lesbian morrigan and such). Which makes perfect sense.
