When it comes to Dragon Age games I generally start with a human mage.  I like to feel like I'm all powerful.

Female elf mage annnnd.... that's all I got. I find it too hard to narrow down personality a lot before playing. Instead I sort of just build it as I go. She certainly won't be an aggressive a-hole type though, probably more of a people person who is much better suited to discussion than a fight.

Starting off with a male elf rift mage, I feel like mages are going to have a bigger impact this game plus I started off with a rogue in DAO and a warrior with DA2.

Female human mage for my first playthrough. Mages are by far my favorite class. Rift mage or necromancer, haven't decided yet. I may save rift mage for my elven mage playthrough.

Probably either female elf rogue or female qunari after that.

Female qunari Knight Enchanter. Gonna romance Sera and be as sarcastic/funny/lighthearted as possible. Also, support the mages over the Templars.

I planned a male dalish mage, but after watching how he looks like in various outfit, including the Skyhold one, I switched to male human mage.

I'm going to make a male human mage, and a female qunari warrior, and then play them both for a short while and see which I prefer.

 

Currently leaning towards the mage, in the hope that by the time of my second playthrough, some more female qunari hairstyles will be available through DLC or mods.

Thinking my first will be a female Dalish Necromancer. In the past two I was a Human male Warrior ( S&S in DAO and 2H in DA2 ), so figured it was time for something different.

Was female human (obviously) mage in DA:2

Going with female huma... nope, female elf rogue this time around.

All of my main Dragon Age heroes are going to be female because...

A female quanri rift mage
