I'm SO sorry, I tried warning you.

To be honest, I wonder how Cassandra will feel about it though? She knows the truth. Unless something happens in DA:I that makes this option warranted... I feel like if
you do so, you're just being an "ASSquisitor"

How much of the 'truth' she knows is up for debate.  DA2 is told completely through Varric's story telling and we all know he likes to spin a story, Even the Devs told us not to take EVERYTHING from DA2 at face value because of this.  In one of the dev demos we hear Cassandra talking to Varric reminding him he lied to her.  What exactly he lied about is still in the air but it's something to ponder.

And who knows about this, except for Varric and Cassandra? Remember how DAII started?

I said that before finding out that it is not you , as inquisitor, that carries out the sentence however it does make sense that other people around thedas would blame him for what happened since they weren't there.

Ah, that makes a bit more sense.  Not bad followup on that choice.  I'm guessing that's what drives Varric off (Might that depend on whether they were friends or rivals?)

Well if it gets Varric to finally go away, I'll do whatever is required to kill Hawke.

I find Hawke to be the bee's knees, but it seems like this game really is dishing it out for everyone, provided this spoiler is true.

I really wish I hadn't clicked, but you did warn me! I put none of my attribute points in Willpower, I'm afraid.
