Also yeah how come the hair is brown? Wouldn't it be safer for the kid to have black hair to match Morrigan since we can't know what the Warden looked like?

Well, this way the kid might have gotten something from his dad. And if not, then its a good thing brown hair is extremely common, its probably in their ancestry somewhere. Now, if he was a blonde, that'd be a bit weirder.

The reuse of her clothing does annoy me though. If Leliana can change her style...
We did see her in a dress. My guess is, that's just her "battle gear" Something she hung up and is just now pulling back out.

Perhaps in this state, Loghain's the father. I know data and looks don't cross over. However, maybe at some point they tried making his looks, look like his father. Similar how Hawke's look changed the family's.
