What was the text everyone had for their ending?

 

I ended with 10 Favors but the game said it was "a most satisfactory ending", is there a level higher than that?

 

I don't think so. I ended with 15 favours and got the same ending. You basically need a minimum of 6 favours and then you get a better ending at 8 favours and another at 10 favours.

A few days ago I opened the door of the local Chantry , but decided to not go any further.

Anyway there was some kind of scandal "omg someone opened the door!" I could lie about it etc...but I didn't feel like it.

So the Divine lectured me and left.

Oh well I never liked the Divine anyway.

I got 19 favor. I destroyed that game. Got best ending, so yay! Loved the Marjolaine reference when doing the highest level secret option.

Well talking about my "playthrough" , it was just A DOOR.I didn't steal anything ...or did anything bad (what picking locks isn't the end of the world!)

The Chantry over reacting as usual...

I mean The Divine was all "Oh dear that poor orphan , the Chantry is going to help the poors in Serault . "

Honestly, it feels almost wrong not to do it considering all you find is a poor, destitute hedge-mage living on Abbey handouts in the woods. She's also your Great Aunt. I invited her to live in the Castle and gave her a nice tower where she sleeps curled up on the window ledge. That said I was also on great terms with the Horned Knight, so I think my Scholar was just massively cunning.

I had 77% chance but sill failed. I did still manage the most satisfactory ending, but only after the Divine took back several favors.

So do you mean give her 3 of each at a time because she won't care about us spamming her the same item or 3 of each in different order because she will care about us giving her the same item over and over again?

 

No, it's like getting the same cards over and over in a hunt.  It doesn't really matter what you do, just how many items you spend doing it.

 

There is a special trophy option if you hunted the wyvern though...

6 Favors:  The Divine unlocks and re-consecrates the Chantry

8 Favors:  The Serault family's ancestral mask is restored

10 Favors The Divine gives you a commission to replace all the windows of the Grand Cathedral, guaranteeing  wealth and prestige for the province.  The "best" outcome.

From what I have read, you have the option of screening the present (might be a stat check to convince him to let you). S you still have a chance if you agreed to his request.

So...  Haven't been picking up my market days so I haven't finished.  How many secrets/trophies/viands should I have if I've already opened the sealed chantry and gave my great aunt a room with a view?  To get the best ending?

I think only a combination of 40 secrets/viands/trophies were collected for my outcome. But there might have been a few more gained from choices during the the feast. My character broke into the Chantry and lied to The Divine about it. She didn't believe my lie that it was thieves, was outraged, and threatened to cancel the feast and leave but was convinced to stay by others. After that mess there was no way I was going to let the Horned Knight present a gift to The Divine personally. And when I asked to screen the Horned Knights gift he flipped out and stormed out of the feast. This is the same Horned Knight that expected you to hand over your hunter as a prisoner for hunting a deer. Ohhhh... OK... Nope. The Feast was turning out to be a moderate disaster, but I was able to win The Divine back with dialogue. No doubt the Horned Knight is plotting to roast all of Serault with forest dragons though.

 

It was tempting to use the "Blackmail The Divine" option to see The Divine's face crack. But, considering there's no load previous save option, I had second thoughts. It was worth gloating over that The Divine didn't give a damn that I imprisoned the Dour Lord in the dungeons. Still never found out why Hawke's brother was in Serault. The writing for the game is impeccable. It's as satisfying to read as looking at beautiful Inquisition game graphics.
