Good day,

I was wondering if anybody could tell me what will be my settings when I will be playing this game (low, medium or high). I looked at the minimum/recommended requirements but I don't know anything about computers and don't understand what this all mean. This will also be the deciding factor if I decide to buy it on PC or PS4. Here are the specs on my AlienWare (laptop):

  • OS: Windows 8
  • CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ cpu @ 2.40GHz, 2.40 GHz
  • System RAM: 16 Gig RAM,
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 765 M
  • Dedicated Video Ram: 2GB
  • DirectX Version: DirectX 11

So, based on your opinion, should I buy this on PC or PS4 ? Thank you in advance for your help.

You'll be fine I'd be surprised if you couldn't play on the High graphics setting.  You could probably even pick some Ultra settings

EDIT: I should note that I didn't actually do performance testing.  Just basing this on the fact that my work computer is not as good as yours and making educated guesses based on that.

Finally somebody that helped me with the issue at hand here :).

My hero ! Do you play Dragon Age Inquisition at work ? If yes, how well does it run ?

I do have a beefy CPU and absurd amounts of memory (needed for the toolset).  My CPU is 3.47GHz Quadcore with 24 GB of RAM (I only had 12 for a long time though), with an older GTX 560 Ti.  I find the performance fine on Medium with some stuff on High, and I suspect the graphics card is the biggest thing holding me back.

My coworker and the shiny 290x he got in his machine let him push things up quite a bit higher than me :P

I have an i5-3550 with a Radeon 7950 and 16 GB of RAM at home and am not at all worried about how the game will play or look on my machine there.
