Ah yeah, it must be back when I used to pug with the quarksman, so a lot of time ago indeed. Didn't play much else for like a month, wanted to git gud, lol. Hope it was a good game! 
Not too bad, for Jade. I think we had devices Wave 10, but it went smoothly, which is a miracle.
I was mostly playing Warframe though.

Jay was always a nice guy. I think he was a great player even without the hax. Some just want to be the best and do anything to get there. I always felt like Jay tried to contribute in a positive way to the community though. Just my two cents.
Even though I'm pretty much convinced he used an aimbot, he did seem like a good guy and was always civil. And if it was a choice between playing a game with Jay or with his 'nemesis' Annomander, there's really no contest.

One time I was playing with a BSNer whose name escapes me now. The BSNer didn't have a mic, but she invited in a friend and the friend had the sexiest English voice I have ever heard. I mean it wasn't just the accent, the whole voice was gorgeous. Like music. She would ask for a res or whatever and I couldn't even help but immediately disengage the spawn I was about to annihilate and go to her aid. Not that it really happened like that because she was actually a good player too.
If I could choose someone to run into again it would be her.

I was on a hiatus during that big drama, so I'm not entirely sure what the evidence against him really was, but what I've heard all seems somewhat subjective. I totally agree with Nuke, he was always a nice guy and I got the impression he was just having fun playing the game. And truthfully I wouldn't be the player I am today without him; legit or not, his videos inspired me to work on my aim, and I'm happy with the results.
I do not know how good he was without the aim bot but he was clearly using one in his video "Fencing with Cerberus". Back during the drama I analyzed it and posted about it several times. It's not subjective at all, he was aimbotting and there was proof for it.
That doesn't mean he was a bad person or that he didn't help and inspire others. I don't know. I never met him, played with him or even spoke with him. I don't care if he cheated or not, I just added my analysis of the video to the thread and my 15+ years of online gaming experience (and a certain familiarity with tools, cheats and so on) mean that I am 100% sure he was using an aim bot. I'd bet real money on it, too.
There are two things I don't understand though:
1. How did no one realize he was cheating? He was getting triple headshots while walking around a corner, while the screen was shaking. The people he played with were quite good, too. No one is consistently that much better than their peers.
2. Why would anyone want to play with an aim bot all the time? What's left to do then? Click 100 times for extraction? Doesn't sound like fun.
Anyway.
I'd feel much more social if Mass Effect 3 would recognize my mic and if Origin In Game would stop screwing with my game. I basically like all of you guys and would enjoy playing with you but without a means to communicate or even join your games it's not going to happen.

Heh. Reminds me of Plasma. French-Canadian girl I played MechWarrior with. (Long ago). A really sweet, lovely voice with a cute french accent. And she couldn't even say one sentence without a swear word. ^^

My mic hasn't worked since the beginning. It's been interesting, particularly when I was neck deep in this game and felt at my best. Would work so well with certain random people FR's would get sent out immediately after the game. And that with no communication between us apart from what you can manage with shooting, light/heavy melee, and running in circles. (Which to be fair is quite a bit.)
I listen to music while I play so the loss isn't so great but there have definitely been some time's I'd've liked to chirped in with a particularly amusing bunch.

Well, I have to say I know many girls who play this game and have wonderful voices. Most of them are active around here too XD
However, none of them had the same hypnotic effect on me that Shia_luck's voice had. Anyone around here remembers her? Sweet girl, and a nice player too. Too bad I haven't seen her in ages.

I want to add a couple to my Xbox list. First, Argent because I never randomly bumped into her. But I don't know if that's realistic because I don't think she signs in anymore. Second, Piallator/Walter Volpatto because I've never bumped into him either. As far as I can tell he only signs in while I'm asleep. Damn time zones.
